I saw this coming to be honest. I knew from the promo footage that this is exactly the game we would get.
Yeah, i feared the same, and as usual, was right.
For me, Ubisoft is like the fast food chain of gaming. Strong 7 if good, 5 as average and 3 if bad
It's definitley not groundbreaking, but overall im enjoying it. Personally having all the upgrades tied to equipment rather than character isn't a problem for me. Seems to fit character who doesn't have special abilities & has to rely on equipment. I haven't finished game but from what I hear the doesn't grow much story wise, but atm happy enough just go along for the adventure & I don't have issue with character herself. I'm a stealth player so game seems to suit that style fine. My main gripes so far have been with ui elements & wanting more customisation that front. Also rediculous that cant disable depth of field which is very much broken. Camera locking conversations I always hate too. I find the Npc voice acting bit all over the place with the different species & off putting. Quests are standard ubisoft but I'm used to that by now. Ican tell playing there would be performance issues but im lucky enough to have good system for it not to affect. They need fix that tho. But overall an IGN 7 for me at the moment. Plenty to improve but keen to play on. Just waiting for that bug you got tho!
I have several things that i very strongly dislike about it, but it is not the worst game i have ever played.
Yeah, this is a miss for me. I've played enough shallow action arcade open world games for a while. When you make a game this shallow, you NEED to knock it out of the park with dialogue and story writing.

Yeah, i have not been impressed by it. The game isn't horrible, but i don't love it, and i'm a pretty big star wars fan.
Yeah, my time is worth more than mediocrity, so most modern games are plain and simple, just letdowns.
Dang this game failed left and right not even choices for weapons or customization no rpg elements super shallow character with no personality no light sabers or force…. What the actual hell were the devs thinking 🤔. Did they really just rely on it being Star Wars and open world for it to be successful 🤣.

Couldn't really expect anything else from that teamup though, so maybe it's our fault for expecting anything else.
