- 517. In this video I'm showing how to use my Just Paint interference mica powder. First I use my interference mica in resin. Then added to another mica powder to create different colors and lastly I show how my Just Paint interference powder looks in a waterbased acrylic binder. I love interference micas, and currently have plenty, but it's nice to know where to get more. They can also be mixed with alcohol to make alcohol ink that shimmers like crazy.❤️

They are magnificent Petra! I used mine on a wood round, with white tint, and created a Mother if Pearl clock for a friend's wedding gift. She loved it!
Gold is my favourite from them all, especially with polymer medium over clear crystals, for a soft gold look.

These are beautiful and it’s quite interesting how different they appear with white or black backgrounds. Other than that though, what sets them apart from other mica powders? I’m new at this so I’m trying to understand all the different products.
Try etch-all. I’ve used it to etch the lamp work glass beads that I make.
Great display! Thank you! I want to see what it looked like if you mix 2-3 different auroras, just as you did this whole video. So say the blue mixed with a green aurora AND a violet aurora, for example. Would that create a chameleon type color with 2 different sheens, or does it just ruin it? If it works, what does it look like with 3 auroras, mixed with a color and mixed with a clear acrylic medium as you showed us here? 🤗
