This is what I do, ever since I took a basic ASL course in highschool. It's amazing how much of a habit it formed in a month, when I'd been doing it pointer-middle-ring my whole life, up to that point. ☺

I can’t believe how much different that simple idea of adding the white first made in the end result. Viscosity is so intriguing I could watch the different interpretations all day.

I love the orange one, reminds me of seeing an aerial view of a volcanic explosion with the ash rising from the cloud and then a ring of clouds farther out. So gorgeous!

Dollar tree sells makeup organizers that are tiered and hold 16 AI bottles perfectly but you have to get the one that is just the 16 compartments. Love mine!

My favorites were the first one and the orange. The middle one was neat, but the other two were gorgeous. I just got a small collection of inks to use. I just started resin this year and love learning new techniques.

Love all these techniques! I just found you a few days ago and have been watching all your video's. You make them so fun to watch! Just an FYI In American Sign Language we use the thumb, pointer and middle finger with palm facing out to sign the number three. I think it is way cooler than the other two ways people do it:)

I didn't see the bottles in your amazon link. I did find them on amazon though. :) Just getting into resin and am learning about the alcohol inks through videos such as yours. Love how the colors swirl, drop, erupt and do all sorts of things! Just so mesmerizing!
It's funny, the 2nd experiment has the color explosion, like the white explosions you get! Love them all.

I do the thumb, pointer & middle finger. My hubby, Tim, he's funny. He does theee with his index, middle and pinky fingers. He's so cute. He's a major dork... but he'd my dork. 🥰🥰🥰
DANG GIRL!!! You put a MEGA- TON of ink in there. You only need about 2 or 3 layers of ink.
Petri dish art IS cool.
If you drop LESS ink and came back an hour after you did this and took something (like a toothpick) and did a couple swirls then left it for 24 hrs... THAT would be gorgeous. You would get this feather look. Totally 3D look.
Watch some videos by Myriam's Nature; Pouring Your Heart Out; Dabiel Cooper... etc. You could just search for Petri Dish Resin Art. You can find some great techniques that are really easy and turn out sooooo gorgeous. Tey it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

you're fun to watch,, I like the 2nd one the best. You should watch Myriam's Nature, she does awesome work, you should see the stuff she picks up from the Dollar Tree , containers to hold our inks and stuff! Myriam also has a Facebook group. Thank you for helping with the dried flowers, I reallly want to do that tomorrow, also I was wondering why I have very little hardener left and a lot more of the resin, it's two resin to one part hardener, then you said they don't all weigh the same, so now I know why I have more resin than hardener!

The techniques you showed are so cool, I've never seen or heard of any of them before. The 1 that's your favorite, where you mixed the white ink directly into the resin, is absolutely my favorite too. It's so beautiful & amazing, I'm going to try it tonight & I'm really freakin hoping that mine comes out like your's did! Thank you so much for sharing w/ us. Still doing some homework on resin crafts before trying it out...
ok here goes...
1. Are there different types of resin? Because some am seeing after demoulding, thts it you're done!!...but some other videos shows filing...polishing....sanding...those look like ssooooo much work... so whats the best type to use??
2. Does it always heat up?
3. If it heats up, would it damage say for example photos or other paper items that are put in? The way it spoils fresh flowers?
4. Where to buy ready moulds?

they turned out gorgeous, so colourful, i love all ur resin pieces, also u can use a tooth pick with a bit of acrylic paint to swirl thru resin and get that smoky effect to, and thank u for sharing ur wonderful talent and ur upbeat happy and fun mood

These are gorgeous!!
Over time those bottles have cracked along the top so be sure to keep checking them. The inks are chemicals and they weaken and eat away at the plastic. Beautiful work as always. Rock On!
This was super helpful!! The first technique is what ive been trying to experiment with because i hate when the white ink blobs and falls all the way down in the resin.. great vid :) congrats on 1k subs!!
Edit: maybe you have a tip on avoiding it the white become a blob and falling all the way down? lol

I like how you keep the bottles upside down for easy pouring! Might I suggest: painting a dot wide enough at the flat bottom of the bottle so you don't have to pick them up and see or read the color because the dot of color represents it and/or you can write the color name over it. ;)
