After a skyblock modpack all about automation, an exploration pack is going to be a breath of fresh air. I hope this goes on for a long time.

This is my favorite pack, I'm still surprised he's playing it, never seemed his style outside of Create. I'm happy to see it, I prefer adventure and magic themes, so I typically only watch the start of his LPs until they become heavily machine orientated.
right haven't checked on him in a min glad to see his doing something different, no complaints with the usual tho.

There are updates coming that fix a bunch of outstanding bugs and introduce new content!
What mod adds the block identifier at the top of the screen? I had it when I played this pack through FTB app, but its gone now that I switched over to curse forge. Insight to this would be appreciated!

@@neptern990 the one probe isn't in this pack. Nor is WAILA. It ended up being Jade and was easily fixed in the mod settings :)

@neptern990 yes, I'm aware. I knew that there was already a mod in the pack that allowed it, just didn't know which it was. And I didn't wanna deal with the hassle of re-adding it every update. That's why I asked the question in the way I did..
This was also 2 weeks ago and I got the answer same day without adding new mods

@@alytioooo I’m scared of spyware too so I’ll definitely only use the internet where there is absolutely no data taken from me through Google or RUclips or any other website. But curseforge? I draw a line there
@@alyti Do check out ATLauncher then. it does pull the modrinth, technic, and curseforge.
The modpack needs some updates
Btw please don't have over 100 penetration on any skills. There is a bug that will make your skill do no dmg when it has over 100 pen
They even have PoE's old bugs! The flavor!
yeah it's still very much in a beta state and the devs are very upfront about this, seems like a weird choice for dire
We got some updates coming soon that fix a bunch of the outstanding bugs. That pen one sure was an interesting one.. lol

This is basically path of exile 2 mechanics meeting minecraft gameplay. Edit it even has path of exile music haha cant wait to see how it develops

These types of packs are always so well crafted but such a big time sink I feel like I won't have the chance to see everything it has to offer. Which makes it perfect to watch a let's play of! Played a lot of Diablo 1 & 2 as a kid, so looking forward to seeing how well they've pulled those types of mechanics into this.
As a massive PoE fan I'm hyped to see a PoE mod pack and to see my favourite MC mod pack youtuber play it.

Oh god this really is something unlike you normally play. My community has played this pack a couple times, wasnt my jam but they love it so definitely passing this on to them to watch along!

it is a nice change of pace. its nice to see mods that are not tailored just around crafting and automation once in a while. good choice dire can not wait to see more.

i like automation and seeing you solve problens, but alot of screentime is in a crafting window, so i look forward to seeing moving around the world

I'm hoping that this series does well, and you can play through it for a while. I enjoy the usual format, but after watching for close to a decade, it's nice to mix it up!
Dunno if it will do well on the channel, but I played the first pack, and I enjoyed it a lot. That was all the way back in like 1.16 though, so there have been some changes.
Definitely will be playing this myself though, as soon as I saw this title listed I was like "Wait, there's a new one? Sold!"
Also you can make the minimap show the heads instead of dots, I believe it's in that page you were looking at, you click next, then it's there? Can't remember exactly. I just know I've done it before.
I haven't been watching your stuff lately because it was all just you in a crafting screen. It's a refreshing change to see you forced to explore and actually play the game. 😊

Dire, I think the thing you were talking about re: the minimap is the Display Icons option.

It really is wild to think about how many games have been reimagined, recreated, or sometimes just honored in Minecraft over the years. And wow, this looks like a real whopper.
Very excited to see how you do in this pack. New things are shiny and fun.
For minimap show heads instead of dots - you need to toggle "Display Icons" option in "Entity Radar Settings".
Player list param means that heads will shows only if tab was pressed (player list open).
if you switch it to "Always" (or something like that) it will be show heads all the time.
Looks like it's going to be a really fun series Dire, and looking forward to a change of pace.
The crafting wizard hole of that Expert pack was a little draining.
This looks unique and interesting. All the ones you tend to just automate the heck out of, I tend to be super in to at first, but after about 60 episodes I get bored of…
In all honesty, my favorite LP you did was Regrowth, but I’ve yet to see anything like that since ever be created

I'm not sure about this series yet, but I'm going to give it a chance. I'm holding out hope that it will turn out to be a lot of fun.
it's very much path of exiles 2, having played it, with a Minecraft twist. looks like fun. edit: looks like fun for sure. a **LOT** of work went into that

I'd end up watching this over skyblock tbh. Poe is one of my favorites so seeing someone who's never touched it try something similar is fun to watch

The talent tree reminds me of Astral Sorcery's abilities tree.
When you hear dire says there is optional automation, you know he will find a way to automate everything

NGL, really wanna see if there's an evil version where you play as an aspiring miniboss, and your mine colony is your dungeon.
Sounds interesting, would like to see you go back and remake the pina colada and go to the tropicraft dimension though. I haven't seen it. I think though you were supposed to sit first then drink.

DW20 has rarely asked the viewers why things don’t work. He records blocks of videos in advance so by the time we comment, he’s well past the problem.
The modpack is quite different, there's so many skills to choose. Like a kid in a candy store.

For the stat points it will be in green letteri g bellow the UI saying points then how many Stat points you have left to spend.
Dire is always missing something obvious like this. It is actually astonishing.
