Thanks for the great video! Getting into airbrushing seems like the most overwhelming part of model making. I'm glad RUclips is full of great informative videos like this.
Solid advice all around. I started using a cheap squeeze bottle with about 10-15% Vallejo airbrush cleaner and 85-90% water between switching colors. Vince Venturella has a video on the process and it’s made in depth cleanings much easier on me. Thanks for the video.
@ 7:14 you said you were cleaning paint on the nozzle. That IS NOT paint, is thread locker (locktite) and its supposed to be there. Also, its always good idea to always insert/remove the needle from the front as it will ensure you never mess the tip. Hope this helps anyone else watching this. Otherwise, good video.
You mentioned running the needle through the body to help loosen things up, I actually use an old danaged needle for this as it saves your good one from sustaining any accidental damage. Also when using lube I was told to run just air through with out paint to blow any excess out tgen run some cleaner yhrough again jysf yo make sure.
I also use the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush. I use a daily cleaning method similar to the one shown here. For the occasional deep maintenance I use an ultra sonic cleaner. Have you ever tried or considered that?
Hi I'm having trouble with my airbrush I clean it with mr tool cleaner from when I start painting it doesn't want to spray so I disassemble it and clean it with cutex but it doesn't spray the paint that I use is Mr color paints so what do I need to clean
your videos are better than the official iwata videos. Thank you.
Wow thank you

Thanks for this what compressor would you recommend ? I need 30-35 working psi
Could you make a video of some good brands and paints (also how to use acrylic with it)?
Just wondering if you had any O-rings in the nozzle head break? Would the alcohol affect it?
Nope. Never had to replace one.
I got eclipse bcs and when I open fluid no air and then when turn on air it splatter ls .it does it with alchohol

hello DeeJayBe I was wondering what air brush you would recommend for a schleich or collectA model horse
The Iwata Eclipse is a perfect start
@@DeeJayBeStudios OK thank you
when im cleaning my nozzle I don't ever take those two pieces apart just soak it in some of the 5618 createx cleaner
It’s not recommended by Iwata. But I have done it before.
also consider ultrasonic cleaning machines..
I’ve heard mixed reviews on those!
I like to feed them carrots and pet them, but owning them is too much work.
Henlo
Rubbing Alcoholic lol
