Ever since Napster, it's apparent that Metallica has consciously worked to remove barriers between themselves and their fans, and they really have succeeded. Between the live videos and behind-the-scenes material available for free on RUclips, meet and greets, and cool, unique promotions like this... what other band at this level of fame and success makes you feel like you could have a coffee with them and they'd just be normal dudes?

They got a reality check that if your too greedy people will find a way to go around any form of payment.
It’s just like the tax bell curve, you can keep taxing people but they will just stop working and you will end up getting less taxes.
You Do realize metallica still makes money off these youtube videos otherwise they wouldn't do them. And have you seen the prices of their meet and greets? They're outrageous. Idk wtf you talking about when you mention they aren't like they used to be. To them money is always first.

Great to see the vinyl industry over the past couple of years getting a boost from music fans. As an old music fan who saw vinyl, CDs, and now digital, there’s still value in physical media. And great to see these folks working! 💿
Loved reading your comment! I feel like a lot of people realize the emptiness that comes from streaming digital. There's something inherently special about analog music and I'm here for the ride 😃👍

In terms of physical media, music took the worst hit. Buying an album and listening while looking at the art work and photos and flipping through book is an experience sadly lost on most people.

I just love the fact that there are still people who press Vinyl manually. And the fabric is not full of automated robots, it makes me feel better about purchasing a 72 seassons Vinyl, like i'm also supporting the work of these people who works there!
I’m gonna start collecting vinyl because of this album. Nothing like having a physical copy, I really miss that digital is just not the same. And just look at how many people are involved in the process. Metallica create so many jobs as well.. respect to them.
Its really you and me that create the jobs.. no sales, no jobs but still I agree respect to Metallica.
LPs,CDs and even cassettes are still better than digital downloads

Best band ever ? Wtf they’ve only released 11 albums in over 40 years and most of them are poor releases . Most overrated ever
best? well? they have some Amazing Albums. and whats "Cool" here is that they have the money to do this & Very glad to see the LPs are being made here in the US.

Back to the days when everyone was talking about Metallica. So old, nice feeling.
This is really cool. Look at how many people Metallica employs...from just having a DREAM! ONE DREAM! It's amazing to see how one DREAM can bless so many people be it with a job, solace, music, good vibes...whatever it may be. Man...this just makes me feel so good.
Furnace has been around for 27 years employing people.

This is really cool to watch. Such dedication from everybody working there to the craft of making vinyls!! I am so happy to see the resurgence of vinyls in the last couple of years... The sound you get from a vinyl is truly superior dynamically and organically to digital formats, and people have noticed that.

Even if the album is seemingly going to be very lackluster and just another hardwired, it’s still really cool to see all this cool random shit they’ve been putting out for us fans to still give us the hype we enjoy. All these behind the scenes, interviews, and interesting social media focused single announcements have been so cool. Love Metallica!

@@Salomon_G Literally everything you said is wrong. Better production, WAY better songs (so far), better vocals, better solos and way more intense than Hardwired. But it's "oh, so cool" to hate on Metallica, isn't it?
@@Salomon_G Dude, my favorite album of 2022 is Morbific's - Squirm Beyond The Mortal Realm. If you don't know it, check it out. Listen to that shit and tell me if i care about good production. I've been consciously listening to Metallica since 1991 (have heard of them throughout the 80's) and they have put out a LOT of shit, since. I loathe "St. Anger", strongly dislike "Death Magnetic" and i like 7 songs on "HTSD". The rest is mediocre hard rock. The point being: Metallica had their glory days and should retire soon. Yes, it's true. But this album, so far, is being a nice surprise. They sound fresh and uncompromised, which is all we can ask from them, at almost age 60. The songs flow, James sounds really good (obviously different from Seattle 89), Lars is playing decent beats and keeping time (which is fine, for him) Kirk's playing has it's dull moments, but it certainly shines at some points. Everybody has the right to their own opinion, sure. But what do you expect from them, 42 years into their career? This is as good as it's gonna get. And for me... it's really good.
@@TheFuckingVicious 0 from 3 so far this album. Nothing to write home about., Even the cover is terrible. A record shop here is giving an exclusive yellow tote bag with every pre-oder. Who the hell wants a yellow bag to match a yellow sleeve, sad. The last good album was the Black album. Then it was AlternicA, and then it just got boring. Yesd there are decent songs here n there, but no decent albums. And this seems to be the worst.
All the moaners seemed to have gathered under here. The real question is why they're here if they think modern Metallica sucks.
Cool to see another mfg facility and their machines. We use the same racking for our raw materials. Looking forward to the new album.

That’s next level stuff,people! How kind are those workers at the factory for letting him not only tour the facility,learn the process, but they let him make his own album. I teared up when the large group of employees welcomed him to the facility. You can see that everyone employed there is happy and love what they do in life. We need more businesses like THIS one. Thanks,guys! Those are memories for a lifetime for me,as a viewer, and for the gentleman making his own album and receiving an early copy.

Difiero. Soy lo suficientemente viejo para recordar toda la histeria que procovó la espera del album negro. Claro, mucho tuvo que ver la publicidad que le dio MTV pero hasta en los noticieros hablaban de la llegada del nuevo album. La anticipación que había era inaudita y eso que no había redes sociales en aquel entonces. Recuerdo que había gente de muchos gustos musicales y etnias haciendo fila para comprarlo en un Tower Records de San Diego, se me hizo raro pero genial al mismo tiempo, ver a un par de negros con camisetas de raperos pero hablando de Metallica como todos los demás. Qué buena vibra había. Por otro lado recuerdo también que mucha gente se decepcionó porque esperaban otro album al estilo de los anteriores, en especial porque And Justice for All fue una brutal joya del thrash. En fin, me da gusto que Metallica siga con todo, las nuevas canciones me han gustado, sin duda mi banda favorita, no recuerdo el último día en el que no haya escuchado a Metalllica, los que crecimos escuchándolos les tenemos un aprecio bárbaro, son como familia.
Muito legal o processo de fabricação do vinil e que voltou com força total.

This will be the 1st vinyl I’ll have bought since I bought ( well my mom actually) allowed me to get Master of Puppets at a Burmans drug store in Pa. Back in 87 shortly after the album was released early 87
They should do this for CDs too. Also an antiquated medium.
