Makes 4-5 servings
For the custard:
3 Large eggs
2 cups (480ml) Milk
1/4 cup (50g) Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
For the caramel topping:
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp. (120g) Sugar
2 tablespoons (30ml) Water
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
2. Make the caramel: In a saucepan, cook the sugar and water over medium heat, until it is a dark golden brown. Divide the caramel among 4 ramekins. Set aside.
3. Make the custard: In a small saucepan combine milk and sugar. Heat the milk until the sugar has dissolved, do not boil.
4. In a heatproof bowl whisk eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually pout hot milk, while constantly whisking. Sieve.
5. Pour the custard into prepared ramekins, place the ramekins in a large roasting tray (water bath). Carefully add the boiling water into the tray until it is halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven, let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
7. Before serving run a knife around the ramekins, invert and serve cold.
Notes:
• Instead 4 ramekins you can use one 7-inch (18cm) round cake pan.

Hello friends 🙋♂️
Recently, I've been facing some serious issues with RUclips.
My videos are not recommended at all, and I barely get any views. 😔
I don't know why this is happening, but I know what can help:
It would be helpful if you watch the video *until the end*, leave a comment, like the video, share to a friend, or engage in any other interaction.
It helps a lot with the algorithm ❤
And the most important thing, give this recipe a try 😉

The Roman Empire is the true origin of this dessert. The word flan is the French equivalent of the Latin word fladon, which comes from the Old High German word “flado,” meaning “flat cake.”
This is a typical staple dessert of my country, Argentina.
This dessert is smple and delicious.
yummm
Look nice😊

Last time in a Tapas location I ate the sadest creme caramel in my life 😢
So: I‘ll make it by myself! Thank you!
Where was this tapas?
And yes, now you can make it by yourself, it's so easy 😍
I live in Germany. It is a Spanish restaurant nearby. 😅 But it was very sad for a homemade desert.
Where do you get the ideas for your videos? The recipes are really international. Have you travelled a lot?
I used to travel a lot, until I became a father 😂
But I also watching a lot of videos from all around the world and getting inspired.
Also I'm getting requests from my followers, then I study these recipes

Heyyyy Everyone ,
I made this recipe and it was very delecious❤
But the caramel didnt stick on the custard what did i do wrong ? Pls comment on this
As i need to make this tommorow for a family gathering ty!
Hi,
What do you mean didn't stick? It was liquid?
@@TheCookingFoodie yes , exactly
Thanks for replying
And also I needed to add more water when I was making the caramel because it didn't dissolve with the sugar
After baking it should be liquid. Was it same as I showed in the video or different?
It was different and mine wasnt even the same golden color as the video and it was liquid in the end after cooking but the caramel didn't stick to the custard
banofee þie plz
Next time 😉
Can't find recipe
What do you mean? 🤔
UN Owen was Her?
No Its filipino dessert 🇵🇭🇵🇭
The caramel part didn’t work for me, it all became a lump of sugar…
Did you stir it, dont worry about it’s not evenly caramelized, it’ll get brown eventually. If you stir the mixture, you’ll end up with with lump like you described
@@anhkhoahuynh9342 I tried 3 times - I read that it’s not to be touched - it lumped. I added water to try to save it - same thing. Tried with my mother-in-law - we stirred - still looked horrible. Saw some other lady on RUclips do it without water - just sugar - worked like magic 🤷♀️
Looks delicious
