Shocked I’d never heard that story about Tyler Hamilton winning the stage after a 90km solo attack- with a broken collar bone no less! But that’s why I love these videos

In stage 15 Ullrich actually dropped Armstrong on the Tourmalet before the final climb, but Armstrong came back. I remember how happy I was just for it all to be crushed again later on.

I don't know why that entrepreneur wants an 'enhanced Olympics' when people can just watch this chemical drama.
Armstrong, Basso, Hamilton, Vino - some of the most doped up superfreaks sport has ever seen.
I'm sure it was one of these stages where Mayo just stopped pedalling and refused to continue.
the reason was that the Spaniards had also discovered artificial haemoglobin, that Lance was using for months.
Lance knew the Spanish were onto this drug, so had pressured his corrupt stooges at the UCI to stop the Spanish using it, while continuing to give him total freedom. Mayo knew this, and at one moment in the Tour just thought, 'what's the point' and couldn't continue.
