I found artprof around late 2020 while I was working the most boring job of my life. I binge watched so many videos and it reignited my passion for painting!

Congrats ( a little late) to your 100k!
I subscribed years ago, I think I was searching for art related channels at the time. But only really started watching later. I remember the gouache painting course with the guy and today I've been binger watching/listening while working in my studio

Beginning to learn drawing on an online art course and decided to draw along with you on this one. I used Tombow Dual Brush Markers in different shades of grey - didn't manage as much detail, and because I started the drawing too high, I added some trees in the foreground. I finished off with a black Faber Castell brush marker to add the really dark values. Fairly happy with the result! I shall definitely be doing some more drawing along with you in future! I love Art Prof. It's a tremendous resource and also soooo much fun to watch and join in with all the laughs you have! I am learning so much from you all.

So happy ArtProf has reached 100k! ❤️ Found you all during quarantine through an oils versus acrylic techniques video, with Prof Lieu and Alex. Binge-watched through loads of videos after that and realized I needed to subscribe. Thank you, as always, for everything you do!

I found Art Prof sometime during 2019. I think the first video I watched was the gouache tutorial, with Alex. I liked it so much that I watched more and subscribed.!

I want to get started on marker drawing but am not prepared to spend $230 on the full set of tombow dual brush pens. if i could buy 5-10 of them, which colors would you recommend I get? Thank you so much for your help.

Ooh, I started with the portrait set! It's marketed as "skin tone" colors, but I used it as a limited warm tone palette to get to know the material in all sorts of ways. I love Tombow! - Mia, Art Prof Staff

Maybe anotomy videos aren't doing so well because people feel a bit overwhelmed if they are re-starting ou starting out. I do, and I always put them for latter because I prefer to do the fun stuff, to see if I get to draw/paint more consistently. I think people are always scared to draw the human body, because it's so difficult to get right, maybe progressing in drawing they will feel the need to give anotomy a chance to get better figures 😉
