If that, two reasons. One, just from a selfish reason, I want to save money and I get tired of constantly buying things that get later thrown out, or buying food that goes bad because I got too much of it. For example, nowadays I carry around a bottle that I fill with water; I pretty much never buy water bottles any more. Plus, it just gets annoying to constantly be throwing away packaging or piling up plastic bags. The fewer times I have to take out the garbage, the happier lazy me feels!
From a conservation standpoint, I want to do my part in keeping as much out of the landfill as possible, and reduce the amount of energy being used to make packaging/other things I don't really need. I realize what I'm doing pales in comparison to what big corporations do, but perhaps if I vote with my dollars (or lack thereof) the big corporations will get the message conservation matters.
I'm not the greatest word-smith out there, but hopefully that answered your question. Please have a good day!

I’m vegan and I make pizza all the time. That pizza looked so nasty and brown. I put tomato sauce, violife cheese, mushrooms, sweet corn, onions, basil, peppers and it’s so good.

M M Rie is from japan, I’m sure she’s made something similar, but considering marinara is American classic she probably has never needed to make a dish with it from scratch. Also her tasty recipes are always Japanese

I actually enjoyed this episode more than the other ones. Instead of it being a competition, it’s more of a fun project you’d do at home. It might just be the pizza though.

I love these zero waste videos!! It has inspired me so much! I have a 6 month old baby and I’ve been doing cloth diapers for 4 months now along with elimination communication. I’ve pretty much been using a reusable cup and straw every time I go out now and I’m going to start a compost bin this month! Very excited and probably will make a video about it.

Whenever I make pizza...I always make my ow pizza sauce..not because of like can waste..but ye I guess that too...instead of roasting tomatoes. ..what I do is...
I cut a cross on the bottom of my tomatoes and then I boil them in water until like you can see the peel coming off...then you take it out then peel it with your hands...it should come off pretty easy...then once it cools i blend them for a nice puree...I Saute some garlic,onion,one bayleaf,and some thinly diced red bell pepper in some olive oil...and once all that comes soft I add in the puree...and give that a mix...after about 2 to 3 minutes I turn off the heat and take out the bay leaf...then i blend it once again until it's smooth. . somtimes I prefer it a little chunky do i just give it a small go in the mixie..then into the same pan add some olive oil or butter then Pour the blended goodness...and season with some paprika,salt,pepper,oregano and that bay leaf which was taken out earlier...also pour a bit of water and then you wanna then cook it down...cooking it twice will help you get as much flavor in as possible....finally..top it with freshly chopped parsly and some basil...and that's it.....
I know that you would be like who has time for this but it literally takes me 20 min...I do this while i wait for the dough to rise...so not time consuming. ...definitely worth it

A good olive oil glass bottle can be reused as much as you like. It should be thick and dark green, which is perfect for storing all sorts of light-sensitive liquids. I'd still consider this zero waste if you reuse that bottle.

Seriously though if everyone (or at least most people) walked around with resuable drinking bottles and just got their morning coffee or smoother or whatever instead of getting it in the disposable cups, there would be a lot less waste just from one simple change.

Just buy reusable Straws. The Straw problem is actually solved people just have to buy reusable ones instead of the bullshit ones
Reusable straws are great- I do still think we should have *some* straws on hand though. For example, I'm disabled. I shake a lot, and straws are a good solution that keeps me from being doused in every drink I get. But you could easily make a straw that biodegrades once chucked away. I say this because not everyone will get the washable straws, and those that do will forget them.
