Another 5 years later and especially hearing Yakuza mentioned as a hidden gem is kinda fun. Nowadays it feels like there's a new game of spinoff of the series like every other month. I won't complain though, since I love it.
Brutal Legends is so amazing, it was a crash course in the heavy metal genre for a non metal head which I enjoyed. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT is that there is an infamous save game glitch toward the end of it, preventing you from completing 100% trophies and Double Fine NEVER bothered to patch it!
Folklore! Was an early life PS3 exclusive that not a lot of people played, but is excellent! Happy to see Valkyria Chronicles as well. Such a sweet game.
Really happy to see Nier and Valkeria Chronicles make this video, I was actually kind of shocked. Some of my favorite "hidden gems" on the PS3 besides the two I just mentioned are, Under Defeat HD, Deadly Premonition director's cut, El Shadai, Tokyo Jungle, Flower, Time and Eternity and The Atelier series.
Valkyria Chronicles is actually one of the very best games on the PS3. It has really good gameplay, good and likeable characters, along with a pretty good story. I enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed The Last of Us.
iDGF999 I was disappointed too. But since the PSTV has come out, I can play it again on the big screen with a controller in hand, and have a similar experience to the first game. I was much more disappointed to see that Valkyria Chronicles 3 never came out in English though.
Although I totally loved Heavenly Sword, I don't think that it can qualify as "hidden", given that it was a very high-profile release. For its time, it was about as AAA as you could get.
I agree about Enslaved! I thoroughly enjoyed that gaming experience. Very simple in concept and mechanics, but something very endearing (and surprisingly profound) about the story line (IMHO). Thanks Metal Jesus! LOVE your videos... keep 'em coming!
Nice list, just disagree with Yakuza being the "equivalent of gta series but in japan" the game it's really different from gta , it's more a brawler mixed with rpg elements .
Tarkhun Fora Some of the guys who worked on the Yakuza series, originally came from the Shenmue team, so, I compare those two series to each other and it shows.
Bernardo Assis I compared it to GTA because it has many of those open world aspects to it that feel very similar. Plus the crime story elements to me feel very similar most GTA games. But you are right, they are also very different in other ways.
Matthew J. Boone well, yakuza is considered to be a sort of shenmue-sequel =) but honestly, even without comparing this game to shenmue - its very different from gta gameplay wise. It's a jrpg set in japan with brawl-like (reminiscent of dead or alive) combat system and heavy emphasis on storytelling (similar to metal gear solid series in that regard). you don't even have an open world here - just a bunch of locations.
I loved Folklore but I hated the stupid game mechanic where u have to be thrusting the controller up and down and sideways and all that shit to absorb the enemies abilities. just tapping the X button repeatedly would have worked just fine.
Oh man, so glad you mentioned Valkyria Chronicles. That game was the definition of unique! Loved it to death. I got three "hidden" gems (don't know how hidden they really are, but I love them.) Resonance of Fate, Star Ocean The Last Hope International, and Warhawk. Played them all alot!
Greetings from Brazil. I myself am a new fan of the Yakuza series and I can say It is very popular in my country. I am playing and enjoying Yakuza 3. PS3 still rocks!

I was OBSESSED with 'Valyria Chronicles' when I picked it up (I was waiting for it to be on this list). Great mix of real-time/turn-based strategy. Took me back to my days of playing 'Shining Force II' on the Genesis. Of course, I quit playing when the main boss destroyed my team MULTIPLE times, but it's still great and the PSP sequel is decent if not as epic as the first.
The minute you mentioned Nier, I clicked the Like button. Then you mentioned Dragon's Crown and Yakuza 4. How many times can I click the like button without feeling my attempt to give you multiple likes is futile? Drakengard 3, if you get past the many technical problems and outdated graphics, is a hidden gem. Deception 4 likely is, too. If you haven't mentioned Bulletstorm at all yet(forgot), it'd belong here. Same goes for Wolfenstein 2009 if you haven't mentioned it yet on the 360 videos. Earth Defense Force 2025 and Vanquish, too.
much appreciated production. Didn't know about most of the games, but definitely I will check them out now. I loved how you reacted for the heavy metal game LOL
Thanks for covering Nier. It's nice to also note that the Japanese release depicts a different character design and setting for Brother Nier rather than Father Nier as in the Western release. I've never played the Father Nier version of the game, but I liked the character design for Brother Nier much better. The soundtrack by MONACA is amazing. There was a special Piano concert that I believe 200 lucky fans were selected to attend in person, plus it was broadcast on NicoNico Live. Hoashi Keigo and others played live. It was a great mini concert/talk show. Unfortunately, I had no way to record it off of NIcoNIco back then. :( And when discussing Nier, one must *always* mention Yoko Taro's genius. He is a master of creating emotional stories that often force an emotional response out of the player. Even in minor characters spread throughout the world in Nier are so thoroughly developed that when something bad happens to them, you really feel it. Anyway, thanks again for covering this "hidden" gem.
Thank you for recommending games that I could get that I did not know even existed. I just got a couple of the games that you recommended in this video, and I am loving every one of them. Thank you 4 doing what you do every single week.
I love how the first game he mentions is Neir. Automata came out on PS4/PC/XB1, and is one of the greatest games of all time. Dude call it on the Neir series 3 years before Automata blew up. :D
UsefullEater Yeah, I hate the psp so much for this : starting a game on a platform and doing the sequel on another. I'm not into portable consoles. I would actually be ready to pay 200$ to be able to play psp/vita games on my ps3 or ps4.
UsefullEater I felt the same at first. I got the PSP game and it rotted on my shelf for years until I finally decided to play it. It really isn't that half bad. It has a lot more content than VC1, but it does err on the side of quantity over quality. I spent like 65 hours on the game and still tons of stuff I could do. I did beat its main storyline but you can add dozens of more hours of post game content (that does probably get repetitive eventually). However, just thinking about it kind of makes me want to pick it up and start playing more. The characters and story aren't as compelling. The visuals aren't quite as good either of course. May sound like the cons outweigh the pros here, but the game play itself is where it truly shines. All that you would expect from VC1 but more refined and more customization. The classes now branch off with a choice of changing to better versions of the class or something a bit different. An example might be a scout can either become a sniper or an improved version of a scout. Then a sniper could either become an elite sniper or an AT sniper that is based around destroying tanks/apcs/turrets and whatnot. I'd recommend it if you can get it on the cheap.
Surprised Eternal Sonata wasn't on this. That game was so much better than I thought it was gonna be. From learning about Chopin to the awesome battle system. Having the party levels change keeping combat interesting was awesome.
MichaelBtheGameGenie Hmmm, I have only played a demo of Brutal Legend for the Sony PlayStation III; honestly, by reading your comment and reading between the lines...so to speak...it would seem that even after all these years, I have truly missed out on experiencing/playing a true gem. Perhaps it is high time that we fans/gamers receive an HD or even a 4K update to the often overlooked Sony PlayStation III masterpiece. Finally, maybe now that most current gen titles are available on almost all the current gen videogame consoles...we can finally receive a copy/version of Bully: Scholarship Edition for the Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation IV , Windows PC/Apple PC and even an upgraded version for the Microsoft Xbox One X ?!
Very happy to see Nier getting some love. Some other great hidden gems are Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, Folklore, Alice: Madness Returns, El Shaddai, and Afrika.
I agree 1000% with you with Nier! I don't really put a lot of attention to soundtrack in a video game but whenever I play a game and song continues to play in my mind after I stopped playing it's a mission accomplished! Nier gameplaywise is too very efficient. it really is a hidden gem!
Check out Shadows of the Damned if you haven't played it before. It's by the same devs that made Lollipop Chainsaw, and is just as weird. One of my favorite games of last gen.
dude you are one of my favorite people. not just on RUclips but in general. you have a very cool genuineness to you. I love all your videos dude. Keep them coming. and thank you for helping me keep childhood alive haha
Brutal legend truly is one of those gems that when you look and listen too it can't believe it was even made. Although I don't like the style of game play (controlling your minnions) I really love everything about it. The voice acting, the fact ozzy and Jack black are in it, the premise of the game. Tim. I could go on and on but you just need to know is it is epicly friggin awesome. I could not think of a more perfect game for METAL JESUS. You know what would be perfect, if they did a remake of this for ps4 and vita with a guest star appearance of none other than our own METAL JESUS! YEAH, come on, can you feel it! Awesome tactic! Love your channel, I just bought a ps vita after you convinced me and thinking of getting a second with the oled screen. Keep going with your hidden gem series, such a great idea. I am also an older era game so love and appreciate many of the same things. I am really jealous of all the gaming goodness you have amassed. Keep up the great work with your channel. From a fan down under in Australia.
You know what I like to you man for all those years with you as an off and on viewer of your channel. You do in depth videos with rear games , you play the games, you are proficiently well spoken and articulate. Keep on doing what you do.
Love Dragon's Crown. Even if it gets flak for it's exaggerated art style, which is that studio's thing. They also made Odin's Sphere, ps2 classic available for download on psn. Different thatn DC, but still awesome.
It' some thing you mention as Dragon's Crown as a hidden gem MJR.Dragon's Crown sold extremely well for atlus/vanillaware,it is a blast though to play. One PS3 game i can think of that fall under the radar is 3D Dot Game Heroes.
I think Dragon's Dogma should at least have an honourable mention in the next video. A great free roam RPG. Almost feels like Resident Evil at nightfall when all the spooky creatures come out.
If you like cover shooters like The Bureau, then I recommend Vanquish, a futuristic cover shooter with rocket boots on a space station captured by Russian robots. Another PS3 shooter with fun dial turned up high is Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, a stand-alone downloadable game that is one of the best buys for the PS3.
Yess!! You are the king of game videos, hands down. :) They're genuinely fun to watch, very well made , and after buying several of your recommendations I can honestly say you have damn good taste in games, brother. You convey a true passion and enthusiasm for what you do, which is also great. Thank you for caring and giving these games the attention they deserve. Rock on MJ!
I'm surprised to see that Folklore wasn't in the list, but I guess it might be saved for the next part because that was actually a really great game, it's a shame not many people have played it.
Orange Box on PS3! It's always bashed when compared to the Xbox and Pc versions. Nobody is mentioning it, so hey, it's kind of a hidden gem! Servers for Team Fortress 2 is still up too, modfree servers are also more frequent
I really like your inputs on well, ALOT of different platforms of games, especially the PlayStation and PC games (not an Xbox player myself). I really value your opinion and appreciate your honesty as well. I am always looking for something to keep on my own wish list of games to try. Thank you for your channel
Thank you, Metal Jesus. Ever since the death of classic X-Play, I've been searching for a show that made me feel at home, and then I found your channel. Subscribe. Keep em coming, man.
Folklore. Definitely a hidden gem. Actually makes use of the SixAxis without going overboard. Downside is that it can be dry and repetitive. But check it out if you're into Celtic erm..folklore. Honorable mentions: Tales of Graces F (gets over looked in favor of Vesperia and Xillia), and Darksiders (which I think is a hidden gem if Brutal Legend is!).
Where is Call of Duty? Or Tekken? OR SKYRIM??? Just kidding :) finally someone who recommends Games based on their fun level and not on their popularity level! love your videos keep the good work up! you have a new subscriber! all the best from germany! :)
It’s a video about hidden gems, not popular games. Why would someone name the most popular games from a console generation in a hidden gems video? Your comment makes absolutely no sense.
Brutal Legend is one of Tim Schafer's finest games. Up there with Grim Fandango and Psychonauts. It deserved more sales, such a good game. You can get this game for like 5 dollars used, or on a steam sale for cheap.
Binary Domain Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron Alpha Protocol Deadly Premonition Vanquish Resonance of Fate Shadows of the Damned
Yeah... making her his daughter in Nier was one of the oddest decisions I think I've seen in Japanese-to-Western translations of a game. She was originally his younger sister. Definitely a game I'm still glad to have in my PS3 collection, though I wish it had the option of a Japanese dub with subtitles. Brutal Legend is an AWESOME game for anyone who loves to rock, plus the fact that it has Jack Black and Ozzy and so many others in makes it even that much more amazing. You gotta love what happens to Kabbage Boy at the beginning of the game, too. Plenty of real bands/artists I wouldn't mind seeing that happen to.
Some games that I played a lot on my PS3 that I would consider hidden gems are: Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce (especially when you have multiplayer), Folklore, Aragorn's Quest, and Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll
this list should be all ps3 exlusives. i would put in yakuza dead souls which is great underrated. and haze wasnt that bad. heavenly sword and all the buzz games
As a die-hard Ridge Racer fan, Unbounded was really weird for me. As I was playing it, I was on the brink of uninstalling it and just leaving it, but in the nick of time I got into it, and I played it a little more. It's actually not that bad! It's just a bit dissapointing that it's just Ridge Racer in name only. They should just have called it "Unbounded".
MetalJesusRocks That's what I was thinking too. Ridge Racer sells. And I'm definitely not saying it's a bad game, I quite enjoyed it as long as I just didn't think of it as Ridge Racer.
impishrazor To be honest, Ridge Racer's entire rep pretty much got mutilated by the internet making a billion memes out of Kaz Hirai trying to get everyone hype for playing PS1 games on PSP at E3 2006 lol. Incidentally, it never was released publicly as a PS1 classic. And neither the Vita, nor PS4 saw a RR game at launch.
@Club Bmw Amg pretty sure you meant it was your first 3D resident evil....RE4 came out on Gamecube first. On a more technical note Dreamcast had its first nice texture RE games with Code Veronica....but again you should probably say PS1 technically it had 3D models within a 2D environment in RE1 and RE2 (original) appreciate your enthusiasm though! PS3 is awesome
Another great thing to mention about Brutal Legend is the real-time-strategy elements in the primary battles of the game. I typically don't like real-time-strategy, but Brutal Legend actually implemented these features really well.
I just bought a new PS3 a couple days ago (fat model from 2006). This video really helped. Thank you. EDIT: Well, it fucking got an RLOD. I’m so pissed off.
Blinking Red Light means your PS3 isn't dead. It's just overheated. This can be fixed but it's not gonna be an easy task. ruclips.net/video/I9I0omACetc/видео.html If the PS3 get's a Yellow Light... it's dead.
Good video but you misrepresented some: Yakuza is not Japanese GTA, it really isn't. You also misrepresented Brutal Legend as an open world action adventure and ignored its biggest game mechanic: the RTS elements.
I definitely agree that Yakuza is not a Japanese GTA! I played through the 1st game back when it was first released on the PS2 and loved it even then! It actually got a great remake/remaster in the form of Yakuza Kiwami on PS4. They did the same thing fairly recently with Yakuza 2, remastering it and calling it Yakuza Kiwami 2.
man dragons crown is one of my favorite games ever, the tower of Mirage's has 10.000 levels, this game has a ton content definitively a must try at least
I always wonder how many of the games MJR covers he actually finishes. I mean he has a full time job, a wife, a relatively high maintenance RUclips channel, a band and the podcast. In contrast I have very little commitments, a part time job with a ton of holidays (a college tutor), a fairly low maintenance channel and I try and spend as much time as I can gaming, probably more time than most people can devote to be fair, (maybe sad in some people's eyes but it's the life I choose and I'm content) but even with that there's no way I could finish the amount of games MJR covers and talks about on the podcast and channel in the time frame they're covered in. I always think that these "gems" videos etc are just impressions maybe garnered from an evenings worth of play rather than from someone who's gone the whole hog and seen the game through to the end. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the content that MJR puts out, it's more an observation than a criticism, but I do tend to value the opinion of someone who's actually beaten a game over someone who hasn't, example Gamezofwar, you can tell he beats most of the games he talks about and normally says if he hasn't.
I have an impression that Metal Jesus doesn't quite play PS3, when he said he admitted he didn't know of some of the most classic PS games on his other video.
Ridge Racer Unbounded, Yakuza series & Valkyria Chronicles were easily some of my fav games on the PS3! Another hidden gem that should've been included is Split Second which rivalled the Burnout series but for whatever reason just didn't sell :/
I really want to thank you for all your videos. I'm super late to video games. I had a SNES way back when I was I kid and I just recently got a New 3DS ( yes, just barely) and have been watching all your videos for 3DS games. Now I'm on to PS3 games. I've had a PS3 for a while but it's mainly been my Netflix box. I never realized how much I missed playing video games and I want to thank you for having so much great content so that those like me can catch up quickly!
0:24 Nier
1:50 Yakuza 4

Thanks bro
Its crazy how Yakuza and Nier were considered hidden gems not too long ago, now they're huge
Another 5 years later and especially hearing Yakuza mentioned as a hidden gem is kinda fun. Nowadays it feels like there's a new game of spinoff of the series like every other month. I won't complain though, since I love it.
@@Danbu1988 bro you're making me feel so old lmaooo
Agree. I’m sick of hearing about it every time I’m on a game video or website.
Kingdom of Amalur was like that for a while, too.
I have to recommend Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, a massively underrated game.
crollsy I think he put it in his 360 hidden gem video
I played it it was a good game great story
I second that!
I'm searching for a Ps3 cd or memory card that had 800 built-in games that I can play the entire game with the original graphics and music ?
+1
0:58 Dude, that's quality voice actor tier stuff right there.
Dude could be a villain on a movie and I'd get so caught up in it, that I'd forget it's Metal Jesus 😂
Catherine! One hell of an amazing hidden gem
And nowadays we have Catherine in every actual platform
@@GoodGamer360 why is it good?

Binary Domain, Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.
Binary Domain was a amazing game. It was also made by the same team who make the yakuza games.

Nice list, just disagree with Yakuza being the "equivalent of gta series but in japan" the game it's really different from gta , it's more a brawler mixed with rpg elements .

Very happy to see Nier getting some love. Some other great hidden gems are Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, Folklore, Alice: Madness Returns, El Shaddai, and Afrika.
Dragons Crown is awesome. I've been playing it for a few days. It's like a modern day Golden Axe with a ton of depth.
I agree 1000% with you with Nier! I don't really put a lot of attention to soundtrack in a video game but whenever I play a game and song continues to play in my mind after I stopped playing it's a mission accomplished! Nier gameplaywise is too very efficient. it really is a hidden gem!
MY PS3 Hidden Gem / underrated Games list:
- Mamorukun Curse (aka. Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta)
- Top Spin 4
- 3D Dot Game Heroes
- Puppeteer
- GoldenEye 007: Reloaded
- Katamari Forever
- Lollipop Chainsaw
Check out Shadows of the Damned if you haven't played it before. It's by the same devs that made Lollipop Chainsaw, and is just as weird. One of my favorite games of last gen.
I know Shadows of the Damned but I didn't like it at all, sorry.
Johnny Cage Huh. I thought you'd like it if you liked Lollipop chainsaw... Oh well. I loved it much more than lollipop.
lol, you are even worst than this guy ... puppeteer is the only sleeper hit of your list
Bolas - If I should ever start to care about what you say I'll tell you.
This video introduced me to the Yakuza series and now it's one of my favorite games! Thanks a lot!
Ay this video got me to start playing the Yakuza series, just wanted to say thank you. Yakuza 4 was so good.
dude you are one of my favorite people. not just on RUclips but in general. you have a very cool genuineness to you. I love all your videos dude. Keep them coming. and thank you for helping me keep childhood alive haha
YES thank you! BRUTAL LEGEND!!! Jack Black, Brian Posehn, Lemmy and Ozzy!!!!!!!!!! loved it
Brutal legend truly is one of those gems that when you look and listen too it can't believe it was even made.
All the Tales games for PS3 are amazing, and the Gundam Musou games are pretty good too.
Except for Xillia 2 :-\ That's a polished turd.
MrGencyExit64
Xillia 2 was amazing, if you ask me.
MushaGundamMKIII
It was fine, but not a masterpiece like the others
Dragonnestify
I think part of the reason I enjoyed it so much is that I find Ludger to be the most relatable protagonist in the series.
MushaGundamMKIII
ut please, PSABR is bad.
Different thatn DC, but still awesome.
farjacko I really loved Muramasa as well, i put a bit more time into that than Odin Sphere. Still need to pick up Dragons Crown though
farjacko lol I'm pretty sure no one had a problem with how exaggerated Sorceress characters are xD
Metal Jesus is BACK again!
Every Friday :)
Journey was an amazing game...definitely a gem
I like how Metal Jesus is so versatile in his pickup choices.
Thanks for the video. My most collected games are on ps3. Love that system.
Your review of Brutal Legend makes me want to play this game, huge metal fan too
MJR I remember when you had around 5k subs. Your channel has grown so much :') I hope you continue to succeed.
House of the Dead: Overkill and Time Crisis: Razing Storm were both amazing, plus they use of the Move eliminated the old screen/trigger flash (bonus)
Are there any PS3 MOVE Hidden Gems?!
Guided fate paradox
El Shadai! Great game with a very cool art style and fun gameplay.
Orange Box on PS3! It's always bashed when compared to the Xbox and Pc versions. Nobody is mentioning it, so hey, it's kind of a hidden gem! Servers for Team Fortress 2 is still up too, modfree servers are also more frequent
Residnet Evil 5 Gold Edition, Portal 2, Sorcery, and Sports Champions 2.
Demon's Souls is definitely a hidden gem, underneath the difficulty is an incredible storyline with great gameplay.
You always make some awesome picks for hidden gems. MJR way to go!
First video of yours I watch. Great picks, all look interesting to me and I've overlooked them all pretty much, you sir have a new subscriber!
I played Valkyria Chronicles on PS3 and loved it so much I bought it again-- the HD remastered edition on the PS4.
9:20
I hope that Brutal Legends gets ported to the switch. It was one of my faves
The most disappointing game of 2009 as voted by a podcast who felt betrayed by the demo.
Spencer Hill Call of Duty, Tekken and Skyrim are mega popular games but that doesn't mean they're not fun. They are.
I got super triggered at the beginning! LOL
Um... I've spent days in Skyrim....
It’s a video about hidden gems, not popular games. Why would someone name the most popular games from a console generation in a hidden gems video? Your comment makes absolutely no sense.
@@maximillionroivas3893 yep
Brutal Legend is one of Tim Schafer's finest games. Up there with Grim Fandango and Psychonauts. It deserved more sales, such a good game. You can get this game for like 5 dollars used, or on a steam sale for cheap.
Binary Domain
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron
Alpha Protocol
Deadly Premonition
Vanquish
Resonance of Fate
Shadows of the Damned
RolodexEnigma space marine was great and rosonance of fate
Played all those on the 360. Wish this was an exclusivity list.
Deadly Premonition, lol!
BillDaBurgerEater Hey dumbass Metal Jesus actually said its a hidden Gem which it is so fuck off
Pretty solid list here
Yeah... making her his daughter in Nier was one of the oddest decisions I think I've seen in Japanese-to-Western translations of a game.
Ni No Kuni
Zone of the Enders HD
Persona 4 Arena (and Ultimax)
Some games that I played a lot on my PS3 that I would consider hidden gems are: Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce (especially when you have multiplayer), Folklore, Aragorn's Quest, and Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll
this list should be all ps3 exlusives. i would put in yakuza dead souls which is great underrated. and haze wasnt that bad. heavenly sword and all the buzz games
Nier is such an awesome game. It's probably the most fun I've had with a game in a long time.
NieR, Yakuza 4, Valkyria Chronicles & Dragon's Crown were all really nice experiences indeed (although I do prefer Odinsphere over Dragon's Crown).
Glad to see you included Nier its such an underrated gem!
They should just have called it "Unbounded".
impishrazor I think this is a decent assessment of the game. If they had called it Racer: Unbounded I think more people would have game it a chance.
MetalJesusRocks That's what I was thinking too. Ridge Racer sells. And I'm definitely not saying it's a bad game, I quite enjoyed it as long as I just didn't think of it as Ridge Racer.
impishrazor
To be honest, Ridge Racer's entire rep pretty much got mutilated by the internet making a billion memes out of Kaz Hirai trying to get everyone hype for playing PS1 games on PSP at E3 2006 lol.
Incidentally, it never was released publicly as a PS1 classic. And neither the Vita, nor PS4 saw a RR game at launch.
Mate the Vita Ridge Racer sucked ass
Yakuza as a hidden gem, *boy has that held up*
Valkyria Chronicles is a very good game. I own it. :)
I am so very glad you included Brutal Legend in this list! A very underated game in my opinion, I play this game still from 2010.
Brutal Legend was one of the best games of its time, sad that its so underrated :c
I totally agree on Brutal Legend, so many people say it sucks; but your the only one who actually described this game very well.
Brutal Legend was my introduction to Double Fine
Now whenever I see Double Fine, It's not just Double Fine... it's DOUBLE FIIIIINE!!!
The move is such an under rated system i'm going to do a whole video on it on my channel
*Love PS3 will always be my favorite even when PS10 is out I love PS3 first 3d resident evil was on PS3 and granturismo 5, PS3 IS amazing thumbs up*
First 3d Resident Evil? You mean 4 on GameCube?
I still need get back to gt5. Love it!!
What games do you have! Add me if you wanna play any time. My psn is sighofwinter
Sun Through Eyelids Read my edit on my comment.
@@wales2k4747oh rip. Get a ps3 slim
Blinking Red Light means your PS3 isn't dead. It's just overheated. This can be fixed but it's not gonna be an easy task.
ruclips.net/video/I9I0omACetc/видео.html
If the PS3 get's a Yellow Light... it's dead.
Brutal legend to this day is still one of my favourites ever ha!!! love watching the older video MJR
WOW. Are we already at the point where people are looking back on the PS3 with nostalgia?
It is 10 years old ...
Kahu Renata Yeah but it's still just a previous gen console.
+unnamednewbie13 It really doesn't matter what generation it is. 10 years is a decade.... So think a lot of kids are now adults who had one.
+TheGamerDad that's what I meant, some people grew up on it
I grew up on things like the NES, but it wasn't until long after the SNES that I viewed the NES with a sense of nostalgia. Just seems too soon is all.
Brutal Legend is where the fun begins, man. That game is such an underappreciated classic
Don't know what you should include, but I do love me some Neptunia.
Came here to post that.
I'm just glad Metal Jesus covered Brutal Legend.
You need to put Demon Soul in your next video my friend, it was the first soul games
Sound Shapes. Fantastic 2D platformer that plays in-sync with the background music.
0:58 was actually a really good voice lol
I've recently started buying more PS3 games...but I was mostly a X360 dude
+MetalJesusRocks Gotcha, and I didn't notice how old this video is. Regardless, love your channel!! Thanks!!
Its ironic isn't it?
Captain Future ^_^
Ridge Racer Unbounded, Yakuza series & Valkyria Chronicles were easily some of my fav games on the PS3! Another hidden gem that should've been included is Split Second which rivalled the Burnout series but for whatever reason just didn't sell :/
How about some Disgaea? Preferable number 4 or D2. Anyways, great list.
