Yes, it’s the exact same, you just need to log into xsplit with your RUclips account

@@Abdul4Football there’s a free version, yeah. It’s exactly the same instructions as what was done in the video, you just log in with RUclips instead. I use OBS personally, which doesn’t have game bar functionality (yet) and that’s completely free if you’re looking for full functionality.

I guess it is to do something with the resolution. If your monitor is 1920x1080 while you play a game on 1280x720 (full screen), and record it, it records on 1920x1080 but the output of the game is 1280x720

Sadly I had to disable Xbox gamebar with regedit. Some games can’t handle it on the background. Like call of duty.

While I would agree with this in some cases, we can’t ignore the facts that 1) there’s a learning curve and 2) you need either 2 monitors or alt tab out of the game to see it. There are definitely use cases for this
When Can I play among us on Xbox not pc?
Among Us is a very low end game. Even the cheapest PC possible could run it.

Why don't you guys just add OBS integration? It's open-source and also everything would be much simpler.
They’re not affiliated with Xbox, but yes there needs to be OBS integration too. OBS is used far more than Xsplit. I think the issue is that game bar requires the app to be UWP, and OBS just doesn’t have the man power or the reasoning to use a legacy system like UWP. I think it’s best to wait it out until the widget store opens up to other apps, at least WinUI 3.0, before it becomes an idea that the OBS Project would be able to realistically carry out.
Well i use xbox game bar because i have promblems with obs its way to bright when i record and when i go to brightness settings and make ot darker it makes it worse

i dont use OBS cause its really laggy and it affects my gameplay and i just dont use it
The game bar can drop fps in some games
So can OBS, I can see a use case for both.
gamebar is inbuilt, so it will give you the best possible fps you can possibly get from your system.
and this mainly helps out for lower end systems where every fps counts.
Obs is light, but it won't provide consistent fps as compared to gamebar.
Again this is from a lower end system's point of view.
@@astrojade4802 hey I’m also from a lower end user perspective (7 years strong on a HP pavilion) and for me I can see some performance drops with Game Bar. This could be attributed to disk usage since I use a HDD though and personally I think that you’ll want to have a minimum €500 system to stream anyway to the point where the differences between Game Bar and OBS are less stark.
To conclude I guess, Game Bar is very convenient, OBS is very granular, SLOBS sucks at both lmao
