Very good video! You clearly explained what you did, how you did it, and what the results were in a very concise manner. I also like that you summarized the “so what” of this testing by giving us your conclusion about the potential to use the American Gunner ammo as practice ammo for short and medium distances. Bravo! I wish many other people would be as effective in their videos as you were.
Great Video, real informative... been shooting the same match ammo. So lately I’ve searching for budget round to run through my 700. Thank you, you’ve answered all my questions.
Was never able to get 140 ELD-M ammo last year. But the AG 140 shot great...out to about 800 yards. It really started stringing further than that with an ES of 52fps and SD of 19fps (measured over a 10-shot string). Oh, and the AG regularly shoots .400MOA at 100 yards out of my Tikka Tac A1.
I just shot a 2 day silhouette match with AG 140 6.5C ammo and it was grouping well out to 547 yards. During work up with my new silhouette rifle I was getting average MV of 2660 fps and ES 42 fps & SD of 16. That was out of a 24" Brux barrel. My three shot groups run around the same as yours. Tikka sure makes nice accurate rifles.
Groups are nothing to brag about. In my Ruger Precison Rifle in 6.5 CM shooting the American Gunner ammo I am getting .25 inches at 100 yds for 3 shots off the bench. It is the rifles in this video that do not shoot that well.

Hey black glad to hear. Made the video just so other shooters could see real world range experience with this ammo.
We are brothers from a different mother! My two rifle calibers are .22LR, and 6.5 CM. Please read my comment on your SK .22LR post.
Good video. Thanks for posting your results.
Thanks, hope it was useful for you.

Which one is more accurate at 600 yards?
The ELDM ammo is more accurate.

Sounds like you have your RPR dialed right in. Nice to have one that shoots well with reasonably priced ammo.
