Gary Melton is a former U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, Weapons Sergeant, and Sniper Team Leader with 4 combat tours. He has worked full time as a Unit Chief and Special Tactics Instructor at a federal agency, and is the owner and Lead Instructor for Paramount Tactical Solutions.

Just picked up a savage 110 precision in .308. Shot federal gmm 175 , fiochhi 168, Hornady 168 match and the new AAC 175. Hornady shot 1.5" to all the others under or at 1". It surprised me. But we all know that 6.5 match is alright!
168gr Hornady .308 ELD match is my prs round, it has fantastic consistency for factory ammo!
I shoot an AI AT .308 in a Vision Chassis.
.5 MOA groups in both Hornady 178gr BTHP and Sellier & Bellot 175gr HPBT... but the S&B is significantly cheaper in the UK 🇬🇧

The plus side is, they're still very good and they still do some things that Garmin Xero doesn't. If the two had a baby, it'd be perfect.

Lab radar is way overrated. Guys need to learn to shoot better, so they know what their rifles like. Show the target when shooting, instead of the lab radar. You'll also know more about rifle and load, if you shoot 10 shot groups.
Did you watch the video? Did you not listen to preface? Or did you just skip around and then comment ignorantly? That gun is a 1 MOA gun period. So doesn't matter what ammo you put through it. This was an ammo test, specifically testing ammo consistency because given the rifle doesn't shoot better than .8 or so no matter what ammo you run through it. And trust me... I've tried every ammo including handloads. If by "guys" you're referencing me, there's plenty of videos on my channel of me shooting sub .25 MOA groups with box ammo. I teach long range for a living and you need to educate yourself before you start your fingers haphazardly dancing across that keyboard. It just makes you look dumb.
There isn't too many things that grind my gears more than am internet know it all jumping in the comments half cocked because they didn't watch the video or have no listening comprehension ability, all because they're too eager to show the world how brilliant they are. Feel free to start your own channel and share with the world the gift God has bestowed upon us all... YOU.

I'm eyeing my next target rifle in 308. I was just reading the details on the Browning X Bolt Target and the Aero Precision Solus Bravo about an hour ago. Well, technically the Bravo isn't a target rifle in the strict sense, it's supposedly very accurate and I like the tactical look.
Buy once, buy right, buy yourself an MPA PMR Pro II. I’ve tested and reviewed a lot of rifles and nothing comes close. If you follow this advice, you’ll thank me later.

@@paramounttactical Wow, you weren't kidding. That is one sweet rifle! I almost grabbed my credit card lol. I spec'd one out. I'm loving the RH/LH option. Mine came out to $2890 not including the cerakote (FDE is my pic) and a black barrel. Time to start saving....
