    If you can't or don't want mess with the hub nut you can unbolt the 6 bolts from the other side of the drive shaft.
    The axle hub nut needs a 36mm socket and 24mm nut. If the nut is un poor shape, extremely thigthened or find one is hard in you location, better dont mess with it and undo the other 6 bolts.

    about the loose bolts at 6:17 I had some problems with this but what I have found that is that the aluminium housing of the rear bushing is to big/thick and it touches the subframe preventing it from siting in the correct position wich causes problem with tightening the bolts, somtimes it can be so bad it is hard to screw the bolt in

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  3 года назад +1

      Hello. Never encountered that problem, guess the lower quality parts may do that unfortunately. Evan if you are able to screw it well and torque it, if it does not sits, it will always come loose.

    Great video, very informative. I been having that f** noise for the last month and was thinking of replacing the whole front suspension. Now I'll try greasing the upper wishbones bushings and see if it goes away. Thanks 😀

    Hey what's the best way to take out the bushings of the upper control arm to lubricate it? I have quality Lemförder spare parts, do you know if they need to be lubricated? I don't want to damage anything while taking the bushings out.

    Excellent channel! On my old 147 the pinch bolt, that hold the shock absorber to the fork, was badly seized. Tried cutting it but in the end had to cut the fork and replace. Any tips on how to deal with badly seized screws on these cars? I know the rear long bolt is common to be seized as well. Thank you for awesome content!

      Hello. How are you? It has come to my attention that, that is a big problems outside Portugal and some other hotter countrys.
      The best way to deal with this is to prevent it!
      Using a lot of anti seize grasses. Like the ceramic one I like. The copper one is no good for aluminium.
