Thank you for the comment! That is totally fair on using yet another tool 😜 They definitely have some similarities but OneNote has so many features that it would be hard to replace it! I do like Loop components though and the ability to update in real time even in a different platform. It'll be interesting to see where they go!
Thank you for the comment! Yeah it will be interesting to see where it goes. It does seem to be getting comparable features to Notion so I am very excited to see the new features to come ✨
This video was fantastic. I'm a lover or OneNote...but have been leaning on Loop a lot lately. As loop progresses things could get interesting. To Loop or not to Loop...that is the question.
Glad it was helpful, thank you for the comment! I have definitely found myself using Loop more often than not as the dashboard is a fresh perspective. But there are still times when I would vote OneNote over Loop. Don't loop yourself out about it 😅
Hi there, I recall being able to insert a working excel sheet into my OneNote but see this is no longer an option with Windows 10 version? Is this the case?
Thank you for the comment ☺️ An Excel file can be inserted into OneNote (I can see the option on my desktop app but unfortunately I'm on a newer version of windows. Windows 10 end of life is 2025, so I suspect that it should still be there). But keep in mind that this feature is the equivalent of making a copy of your spreadsheet and attaching it to your paper notes so it won't sync and update like you might expect it to.
@@officeskillswithamy Thank you, I got office 365 which has the newer version of OneNote 2016, so I now have the OneNote version and back in business! Thanks
Loop seems very promising but I don't know if it's capable of replacing Onenote, and I certainly can't ask my team to start using yet another tool 😂

In my opinion One Note is better than Loop
Thanks for sharing! Yeah I feel that they are quite different at this stage and do serve different purposes.
Loop appears more as a confluence type replacement at the moment

Definitely agree
Is there a way to position some floating text in a loop page like OneNote?
Thank you for the comment, unfortunately, that is not possible at this stage.
