Who would live in Cleavland? Then there's Los Angeles, Atlanta, Washington D.C., NEW York City, and former nice city, Denver. America is losing its culture of hard working, honest, caring people. We are way too soft on crime. Penalties should be stiff, enforceable and no early releases. Crime would drop overnight if punishment was serious. Right now, criminals just walk into stores and steal off the shelves, then turn around & set up shop to sell their stolen goods. Citizens need to support police. The cop is seriously trying to sit him up ? “Anyone got a blanket on them”? EMT’s working in slow motion. If I visit Minnesota, I’m wearing body armor.
I see a lot of people angry that she didn't call an ambulance but she probably had to deal with them in the past and she knows how they are. Plus, the events probably just happened like less than 5 minutes earlier... Where I live it's pretty much the same, if you need to go to the hospital your odds to stay alive are higher if you stay home. The best is to have a friend that is a veterinarian, he's most likely to save your life than doctors at the hospital. Personally I always keep with me a soldering iron so if I get shot I can cauterize any blood vessel right there on the spot. I had to use it once, it works very well.
Id say it's normal. Blood loss, Fighting consciousness. You say crazy things or not enough because the blood pressure isn't there to supply enough oxygen to the brain after shock.
I don't know. I died in August 2023 and I remember going to the hospital but I forgot everything before I died. Nurses and doctors told me stuff after I got out of the hospital two months later when I had to go back to the ER and I sort of remember stuff vaguely. I was told I was dead for 6 minutes before doctors were able to bring me back. My heart swelled because of stress and resulted in a massive heart attack that killed me. I can't even remember anything of the three weeks after I awoke other than I couldn't talk or move. I was told I had emergency open heart surgery. That I'd been transferred to multiple hospitals by helicopter. It's possible he really doesn't remember.

That's not how first aide evaluations of victim's work. He was breathing, he was conscious, he didn't have pooling or gushing wounds. He only complained of discomfort and pain. So, triage standard for a police officer is to simply try and make them comfortable. Both for the safety of the individual, and for legal reasons. Wait for medical to be on site so that they can properly evaluate him. The cop was by the book. Try and ask questions, keep people and witness on sight until others could arrive. He also knew there was a person with a gun nearby. Which you might not think is relevant. But that was his priority. But did it without scaring everyone else. But his concern was preventing another shooting. himself included. He is a police officer. Not a trained medical responder. He did it perfectly. Evaluate, secure, and call for the proper responders, then investigate while information is freshest. While making incoming personal aware of an on-going situation. It just looks super robotic to the average on-looker for sure. I know it all too well.
what aid? Was he supposed to put a tourniquet on his back? Would it have been better if he had asked questions nervously? should he leave him and wait until the witness faints so as not to find out what happened?
I’ve seen cases where cops do attempt to administer first aid and cases where they don’t. I remember reading about a victim of a shooting that the cops found and they wouldn’t allow the ambulance on the scene. They just threw a blanket on her body and left her there to die. She had a Fitbit and her family was able to see that she had a heartbeat for eight hours after she was shot. Imagine you are shot, the cops finally come and they don’t even try to help
Here in Britain, 4 to 6 hours waiting for an ambulance is acceptable today. Apparently! Except to the families of all those who needlessly die waiting, of course! If you pause the video when they start talking about that part there is a white box with text from the actual report and they go into more detail about the call and how they figured it out.
Im so confused as to why she wasnt arrested (or at the very least detained??!?) - The victim was shot multiple times inside HER house. She then lied about that and said it happened outside? - She said she "knew of him," while he said he was there specifically to visit her. - She said ahe didnt call 911 because she doesn't have a phone, but then refers to getting a phone call. - She casually threw away evidence - She was seen dragging an attempted homicide victim out of her house and down the sidewalk.
This video is poorly done. I found an article explaining it all. What happened is: Cameron Jones was ambushed in his bedroom by two people who fired 12 shots at him. They fled the scene. Cameron dragged himself out of his apartment to where the woman found him and, not having a phone (or common sense), she dragged him out to the street. She is just the person who found him; his neighbour. This was actually the SECOND attempt on Cameron's life by them. The first time, they killed the wrong guy. If you google "Duluth ambush shooting results in 20-year prison term" along with "Cameron Maurice Jones", the article should come up. I can't post the link.

I mean he’s already been dragged down the street and they saw all the blood. They were rolling him to see if they needed to put pressure on any wounds. People can bleed out waiting on an ambulance. As a retired Texas State Police Officer, that first contact in the street had me on the edge of my seat. That woman had her hands in her pockets and the Officer appeared to have turned his back on her and was wholey unconcerned about the possibility that she mght have had anything to do with the injury. No pat-down or command to keep her hands out in the open. On the face of the few facts he had, the Officer made no serious attempt to be aware of his surroundings for the shooter. With muliple Officers on the scene it took well over seven minutes before anyone began to secure that scene by clearing the house and area. I can speak only for myself but being that trusting of a person in that situation might someday not be in the best interest of the Officers. I'm glad it all worked out.
Your professionalism is still in good working order. I'll summarize it as Joe Citizen: That cop is an idiot and I'm grateful he's nowhere near my state.

Video doesn't do justice how steep the streets are in Duluth. With the snow, they have to take alternate routes so they don't get stuck. Some of those streets seem like you're going straight up.
And? The ambulances drop people at the hospital- they don't necessarily sit around there waiting for calls. When you call 911 you're getting emergency services provided by your city or county, not the hospital. The ambulance could be anywhere. Where I live, you might wait 20 minutes or more because the area covered is pretty big and the city is pretty busy. We also have a whopping 3 ambulances so if they're all busy, you better hope there's a fire rescue unit available, though most don't have paramedics, only EMTs who can only offer limited treatments.
So the cops blocked them from making it to the hospital ...probably walked there because american healthcare system is criminal and would have charged the victim or bystander helping a $1k-10k bill for 2 block ambulance ride ...that's why no one calls ambulance or 911 for anyone because they'll charge the person who called for the ambulance ride and accuse them of being friends with them

- She said she "knew of him," while he said he was there specifically to visit her.
- She said ahe didnt call 911 because she doesn't have a phone, but then refers to getting a phone call.
- She casually threw away evidence
- She was seen dragging an attempted homicide victim out of her house and down the sidewalk.

He was a minority and he wasnt screaming. They took it as seriously as they wanted to.
So the cops blocked them from making it to the hospital ...probably walked there because american healthcare system is criminal and would have charged the victim or bystander helping a $1k-10k bill for 2 block ambulance ride ...that's why no one calls ambulance or 911 for anyone because they'll charge the person who called for the ambulance ride and accuse them of being friends with them
Did I somehow miss the part where the officer called for an Ambulance?
Wow. Officer Dufus not once called the medics, asking this dude a million questions. What a circus.
It was tough to watch him pale and incapacitated on the ground but he's an absolute soldier for enduring 8 shots and surviving.
You’d be shocked how much a thick jacket can stop small caliber bullets
Um. the man is paralyzed from the bullets.
Turning a deathly white !
he was on drugs this was his luck
I laughed and consider myself a generally good person 😬
The shear lack of urgency the police and paramedics showed to help the guy shot is astounding.
Was honestly disturbing hard to watch he could of died and they are taking pictures of one of his wounds what a joke
So incredibly sad 😢 This poor man being treated less than human and these officer's are so incompetent they seem to have not a care in the world about this man's well-being or whether or not he even survives
@@420hammersmaybe if acted like a human, he wouldn’t be in this situation to begin with?
They're pretty unfriendly actually.
Why are they trying to get a man who had been shot in the back to sit up? Haven't they ever heard of spinal injury?
This most disturbing thing in the video is that woman with no sleeves on her jacket in all that snow!
Weird that she’s not in custody and she’s handling the rose which is evidence. These cops are totally incompetent.
Not to mention the blood she cleaned up and bullet casing!
@@98f5 The police isn't responsible for cleaning up crime scenes, so it's normal that she would have to remove the blood herself.
She announced it was evidence right as she picked it up.
In custody for what!?! All the people wanting her arrested for helping the man is insane. I forsure will not be helping anyone and that is why!! Lawsuits and jail cells all around, OH MY!! I'll remain a looky-loo and passer-by!!
@@TinHatter419well I will be helping! You’ve got a VERY bad attitude.
shes like you aint dying at my house and mess up my high. poor dude.
That's exactly what she was thinking.
"Why were you dragging him?". "Because he refused to walk to the wood chipper on his own." Cop: "Well, that makes sense, have a nice day Miss."
Even the army knows . Wounded and obviously incapacitated enemies must be cared for. The fact they didnt render aid and let him lay and bleed on the ice cold floor is COLD!!!!!!
Instead of the cop giving life saving assistance, he is questioning a gunshot victim!! Is this protocol??
The victim was white so he obviously had it coming. Canadian policy.
He was alert and breathing. The chick was useless and almost aggressive, giving incomprehensible answers.
He was conscious so There wasn't much he could do... I doubt he has a big enough forst aid kid to do a whole lot. If the victim was on consciousness i'm sure he would have done CPR and stuff but that's about it.
He was breathing and conscious, no squirting arterial bleeding, Not much he could do, no chest compressions needed, no mouth to mouth needed, minimal blood.
I think he was just trying to get any information he could in case the guy died and they couldn't get anything from him later...I know i this case he didn't die and they didn't get any information from him later but thats probably why.
No one tries to stop the bleeding by putting pressure on the wounds. First aid 101.
he got like, 8 holes on him. So unless yer an octopus, or a spider..
That's what I was thinking the whole time! Imagine your Son or Daughter gets shot and this POS Officer shows up, bumbling around like Barney Fife rendering ZERO first aid..
@PremiumBlendHerbal he has to make sure it's safe for paramedics to get near the situation. If the shooter is still around the officer has to figure out what is going on. Good thing you'll never be anyone of importance because you seem very ignorant
@@augustseven9243 And I’ve just found the only person who knows.
@@augustseven9243 Sure buddy, you just repeat that to yourself 100 times, might make it true.
Bro took 8 bullets like a champ
Something's fishie, after watching the video I watched it again and the 'never seen footage' was gone.
What are you talking about it’s still there?…
@@kzkane2866 It's a joke, after he had watched the video, the alleged "never before seen footage" was now seen. Therefore when watching the video again, the "never before seen footage" was gone, as it had become regular footage. Not a particularly funny joke, just a bit of cryptic dad humor.
Dude who skated through police academy and barely made grade just walked into the first real police work of his life and man does it show.
I don’t even want to look him up because I’m afraid we might find he is 20 year vet on the squad
@@rockyrox4591 😂😂

Bro, the most experienced ones aren’t worth a dime either.
Cop is completely worthless omfg
