Cooper Flagg is considered the #1 high school prospect for a reason. He dominates everyone else on the court and not just scoring and ball hogging, but his overall game.
Duncanville is a standard although very large school. Monteverde is a prep school. So those kids are at that school for their basketball talent. Thats why they all look like college players.
The reffing was bad at this event if you weren’t from Texas. I was there at the event. Most Texas teams that played out of town teams got blown on by 20+
I wouldn't worry about it if the Texas teams played private schools (schools that recruit). The State of Texas is now a basketball power. You can only do so much against teams that recruit all over their State or nationwide.

They did well in the first half but I think Montverde played a Psychological game or they reserved their energy for the final half.
