I might be mistaken, but I think I remember having two of my units attack/counter each other in the original Disgaea. Has that been changed or am I just misremembering?
At 2:11, I see your weapon has all specialist in it. When I am leveling a weapon (before the first item general lv9) does it matter how many specialist are in there to get extra stats? For example, 1 gladiator is pretty the same as 100 gladiator to fulfill the stat improvement as u level it till lv100? Also it only works with subdued specialist right? (meaning i have to subdued the specialist before lv9). So sorry for the extremely late question lol
A level 100 gladiator would be much better than a level 1 gladiator. And when you subdue a specialist, it doubles its level. Ex: 2 weapons with lvl 1 gladiators in each, subdue both, and now both weapons have a level 2 gladiator in them. Move one of them to the other, combine, and you have one level 4 gladiator. Just don't try to combine subdued with unsubdued, because your total specialist level will go down and you'll have to resubdue them.
Couldn't you just get the 1912 armsmasters on all three of your ect slots and then just swap the weapon as needed because if I remember right it won't stack on one singular piece but if three different pieces have it it will stack
yea, doesnt help with the RNG involved in getting them to actually use said skills, i tried to make a skill showcase back on Disgaea D2 and it was a nightmare because of them not using the skills or dying to counters so yea never again haha

This might have been a patch since this video, but on PS4, if you press triangle you can skip the battle animations making this much faster!
The best place to be op. I did this on psp version.
With the new Auto Battle function on Switch/mobile version of this game, this trick should be a ton easier to do now.

bosses have there own skills and once you kill them you cant see them unless you start a complete new playthrough
