    Very concise information, Nick. As someone who has rolled his forearms through impact, the feeling of the palm of the trail hand pointing more upwards after impact is a very different feel. I'll have to work on that one. Thanks!

    Nick - what a great summary of the SnT system! Clear simple back up demonstration is just what I need!

    Thanks Nick. Very nicely put together. Easy to follow the 9 positions. I appreciated your drawings on top of the swing positions.

    Thanks Nick, you have really helped me improve my swing. Practise swings were sooo much better this winter. Great idea to break the swing into nine different positions. Its like seeing the swing in slow motion parts.

    Hi Nick, your instruction has really helped me with changing my swing to a stack and tilt. This 9 position lesson was great, but one thing I have had difficulty with is the right shoulder staying down as the left rises causing early extension so a comment on this might help others. I now think right shoulder low rather than left shoulder high and this has helped my shots go high with a little draw. Again thanks for your help over several months of working to change my swing.

    • @NickTaylorGolf

      Your welcome Robert, im glad the videos help. The left shoulder should rise as your right shoulder moves down as you turn. Whichever swing thought works for you, stick with it 💪

    Hey Nick, love the teaching you do and content, thanks, keep them coming. I've been looking for one key piece of information that seems to be missing, or I've not seen it yet. That is, distance from the golf ball at set up. I know it'll change as club length changes, but I'm sure that's some rule of thumb you guys have. I find I've really improved my ball striking with the S&T method, but have issues with shanking, never happened before? Any information you could share would be appreciated. Thanks Much.

    Love your swing. The right elbow on downswing...are you purposely keeping it tight to your chest. I think a lot of us loose the proper location of the elbow during the downswing which can translate into all sorts of misses.

    Great video, I’m 2 months into using this method purely from your channel, my ball striking has improved dramatically and distance too, my 2 issues I need to work on is over drawing the ball and taking huge divots probably coming in too steep? Any advice to help reduce my issues would be appreciated. Great channel and always look forward to new videos. 👍

      Thankyou, I mentioned the follow through and body movement in this video. Also the shaft angle from the side view needs to be ‘shallow’ in the downswing

    Great vid! Important for me to hear the measured progression of energy transfer 55/45.- 75/25 etc. I start my backswing with turning my left shoulder down because if I use any other trigger, I don't get my shoulder turn in and a wrist set. At the top, even though I endeavor to keep my head centered, I feel I am "stacked up" over my left knee and have no ability for a weight shift to press my hips toward the target. What is the proper feel at the top with weight over the left knee. How stacked over it do I need to feel? Thanks!!!!!!

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  2 года назад

      Sounds like you are overdoing it Lou. Without seeing the video it would be hard to tell exactly how much

    • @louparker1187
      @louparker1187 2 года назад

      Your info helped. When I set up totally balanced and then moved my hips one inch to my left while keeping my head centered and feeling 60% weight on my left foot, it helped. Thanks!!!!

    Great video. I’m having problems getting hips forward. Where or what muscles are being used to get forward? Thanks

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  2 года назад +1

      The head on the wall drill will help if you know it. Then trying slower swings without a ball to develop the feel of sliding the hips forward and extending the legs at impact/ follow through

    Thanks Nick, Is your shoulder "down" a function of your left knee flex? It appears that you are not increasing your "torso tilt" from set up in the back swing positions.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  2 года назад

      Hi John, I would say the left knee flex is related to the hip turn and tilt which helps but independent from the shoulder tilt

    Great explanation and "showing me". One question of feel: as you continue the swing from p4, is the feeling a flicking back of the right wrist as one gets toward p6?

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  2 года назад +1

      I feel the right wrist bends back and the shaft shallows at the start of the downswing

    I hit my irons fairly well with the stack and tilt. However, I can’t seem to get it with my driver as I tend to hit down with my driver or hit it in the heel.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  2 года назад

      More shoulder tilt at impact and or shallower shaft plane in downswing would help

    Are you setting up with your head centred in your stance (not forward to get the weight forward)?

    • @NickTaylorGolf

      My head is more towards the front foot in front of center

    • @stian2165

  • @JORDANATOR19

    Is this supposed to be a model on how to swing a golf club? Because you don’t have the correct kinetic sequence, or hand/shaft lean at impact?

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  2 года назад

      Yes not perfect thats why I don’t play golf for a living, also the camera angle is slightly off center which doesn’t help the view of the swing
