- President Zelensky says that over 20,000 Russian soldiers have died in their failed offensive in Kharkiv in less than three months. Videos from Russian soldiers in Vovchansk confirm the situation for them on this new Kharkiv front is desperate. Let's give our salute and thumbs up for Joe Biden.. He presided over one of the greatest COvid relief programs in the world. He also influenced one of the greatest economy in the history of America and one of the lowest unemployment rates in the last 100 years..
Biden also made tremendous effort, and suceeded, in forming the strongest NATO in history. His leadership has resulted, not only in new NATO membership and the greatest military help NATO has ever provided, but he also made significant steps towards building alliances in the Indo-Pacific region through AUKUS and QUAD, as the counterweight to ever more belligerent China..
And in the end thank you mister President for your service, strength and moral values that made you decide to drop out of the race and therefore putting the Party, nation and the world in the first place, ignoring your ego. Thank you Joe.

The russian army can pride itself to be 20% faster than a snail.

This is probably one of reasons why Gorbachev (and was replaced by Yeltsin):was pushed out & the USSR finally collapsed. Russia runs on two things: oil & vodka.

Fun Fact: Balaclava as we know them were invent in the 1850's during the Crimean War, a war which the Russian Empire lost. British troops were sent knitted head gear from Britain to help them keep warm during the winter. The head gear would be shipped/mailed to Balaclava in Crimea, hence the name Balaclava. - Jump to the future and now Russians wear Balaclava to keep corpse flies off their faces.

So strange to see the video from Kherson, My wife has family there, we used to go there every year, but have not been there since 2014. My wifes father lives a few hundred meters from the main center, where the videos from when it was invaded and liberated were shown. Just a few weeks ago we got word that her father's car was damaged after a bomb hit very close, also the apartment block he lives in has been damaged. The Russians bomb and shell Kherson daily.

The focus has to be on the swing states. Harris needs to lay off the far-left kool-aid and hold onto the non-college educated social moderates, men especially. She also needs to keep the focus on Trump & Project 2025.

Hey Jake- re election: I'm from New Zealand, in 2017 we had 2 stuffy oldish guys contending for Prime Minister. Labour (center left) were behind in the polls. Their leader Andrew Little stepped down 7 weeks before the election and Jacinda Ardern was selected as leader and swept the country with a refreshing wave of youth and optimism, going on to become Prime Minister with a coalition of smaller parties. I have a feeling now this could happen in the US!
And she was brilliant other countries adored her.
Our elections are a little weirder than yours. Because of the electoral college it doesn’t actually matter who wins the most popular votes, although the popular vote winner does (usually) win the Presidential election. Basically there are a half-dozen or so swing states you basically half to carry to win the Presidential election. Nothing else really matters. Running up big wins in states like California or getting hosed in Florida has almost no impact on whether you win or lose.
Appealing to progressives on cultural issues is a recipe for failure in the Presidential election. Fortunately the Republicans are running so far to the right now that we still have a chance. It will be tight, though. Trump can still win.
