I have once tried to squeeze it on and the pain was agonising. I’m willing to put up with the pain at this point but I’m also scared that because it’s been so long they’re too far apart and that the stress would make them fall out. Any help ???

I always went with the dark grey, thinking that since it blended in with the brackets it'd draw less attention to the braces. Which is stupid because a. who cares, I was lucky to have them & lots of kids at my school had them. And b., it's metal & wires on your teeth, people will see them no matter what lol

I got royal blue my last ortho appointment, 3 days after they were teal. They went from royal blue to teal, aqua, lime green, now a weird blue. Could it be from soda as well?

Me and another girl in 7th grade would always pick out each other’s band colors and we would always tell what we thought of them and if the colors were bad also we would theme them on stuff like winter and summer or holidays like Christmas or Fourth of July
honestly felt like teal was one of the best colors, made the teeth appear whiter and brighter then most colors, lime green also wasnt to bad & so werent the darker colors such as black, navy, etc. but teal was by far my personal go too, now I just have retainers lol. I feel like with the contrast of the black against the teeth it made them appear less white compared to the teal. oh how I miss my braces now that I don’t have them 😂
i was scared to get aqua two appointments ago because my navy had stained and turned a really pretty dark teal with more green than blue but it didn’t stain (the aqua) and i was so happy i wanted it again my last trip. the lady completely said “u want aqua again right?” and i said yes please and when she was getting ready to get the color she mumbled to herself “this that and the teal okay” and left and i don’t personally like teal on myself and it makes me self conscious i was used to getting dark colors and purple and went out of my comfort zone for the blue and now im stuck with teal. its not bad i just dont feel like i look good with it
Yeah, I had clear brackets and clear bands the entire time. My bands were orange a good chunk of the time. I wish they gave me bands to switch out on my own, but I don’t regret going with clear! They still looked pretty invisible, and the brackets themselves never stained!
Colors I choose for holidays to get in the holiday spirit :) Black and orange for Halloween Red and green for Christmas Hot pink and pale blue for Valentine’s Day Green and yellow for spring I also do red and orange in fall (All alternate: like pink blue pink blue or red green red green)

This is what I think I miss the most about having braces… picking new colored rubber bands. It was quite a journey… and as exciting as it was to have them off, I definitely missed them, and had a pretty great experience with braces 😊

I once had ceramic braces which are the clear ones. I couldn't eat or drink ANYTHING without them staining. Even brushing them multiple times a day didn't keep them "clean". I had them switched to metal after about 6 months.
Did they make you pay extra? I have ceramic,but kind of wish I would have done just silver. I haven't noticed them stain though and I drink coffee and dark pops. I also have gotten some fun colors and it makes the colors pop!
I had clear throughout the majority of my Treatment plan, the only time the light yellow was visible was when they took it off to change but with it on, I didn’t notice them changing to visible colors. Don’t be afraid to wear clear.

Mine was a pearl color for 2 years. I never really have any issues with dramatic color changes. I eat anything and drink pretty much anything that I want. Just use a straw, you’ll be fine. lol
if u are getting braces here is a quick tip that i noticed with mine pick colors that you look good in clothing wise for your braces. it will make ur teeth look whiter and it will look better on you. i look best in light blues, teals, and greens for clothing so i have always picked those colors for my braces

Made the mistake of choosing the dark blue ones. They ended up turning this weird greenish blue color. Never again lol 💀
