I am schedule for a deposition, but they also made an offer to settle a day after! if I take the offer does the deposition automatically cancel or do I have to sign anything ? Thanks in advance

If you settle at or before the depo, the depo will not go forward. It is cancelled. :-)

Hi and good morning Naomi..thanks for the insight.. If my friend is falsly terminated while waiting his comp outcome does his comp attorney handle the bulling and harrasment case at work or does another attorney need to assist him, currently a union rep is helping him but just in case.. Thanks

He might file a 132a petition within work comp. But if he wants to pursue a wrongful termination claim in civil court, he needs a consultation with an employment attorney.

I had a deposition and they canceled my deposition for no reason what does it mean it’s been a couple months and I barely seen a state doctor

@@ChristopherMorales-ji7jh It might mean a calendar conflict with the attorney. Depos are usually set ahead of time but Hearings sometimes pop up in the meantime.

Hi Naomi, me again.. awesome video.. Quick question for a coworker who is going through the comprise and release process , however he defended himself against bully at work had been bullying him for sometime and he was suspended and could be terminated because the bully lied ..So does this affect his comp case in general? Its not fair because he really is a good guy who finally stood up for himself and now he could be terminated..I'm trying to help him..bye the way I sent a referral ( new one your way) who should be contacting you soon.. Thanks again, sorry so long..

      Hello Trine,
The answer is yes. It can affect his WC claim. It's too complicated to be explained in comments.

They wanted to settle my case but I knew k needed surgery, now they requested surgery on 1 elbow, but my other elbow after a year is still in pain. What do I do?

I am sorry Robert, you will have to ask a Florida attorney. Work comp can be totally different state to state.
