- Come along while we film for our latest MTB edit, 'Sessions' EP2, at Trestle Bike Park aboard my custom-built YT Tues. We had a great time working on this film project, and are stoked we got to show you how the cable cam works for filming mountain biking. Having access to the cable cam and having permission from the bike park is a great privilege, and I cannot thank the staff at Trestle Bike Park enough for the support.
The full video went live last week and can be found here: • Discover the Beauty: C...

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support on 'Sessions' EP2 last week! I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look into how the film came about and if you have any thoughts on this BTS format I would love to hear them! Cheers!
perfect example of what a rider with steez can do on a blue trail. Its not always the color of the trail that makes you a good rider kidz!
Thanks for watching and couldn’t agree with you more! Fundamental riding skill is far more important than whatever color trail you ride 🙏🏼
So sick
Thanks so much!
Awesome video! i love the way the cable cam turned out!
Glad you enjoyed the video! We love the cable cam too 🙏🏼 Many more cable shots coming in Sessions EP3 as well 👊🏼
Digging this style content! Cable cam stuff looks so buttery!
Thanks Luca! The cable cam stuff is a bit of a process, but so worth it!
I think the variety of content keeps it interesting 🤟
Even this BTS wasn't the same as other BTS videos, it covered a different aspect of the filmmaking, not just generic "watch us filming an edit". Its teaching young riders as well as wowing them
Thanks for watching and for the feedback! I hope you enjoy the upcoming videos!
That gave me some idea of how to shoot my next edit, thanks heaps 🙌🔥
Love to hear that! Best of luck with your filming!
G'day Peter! Been binge-watching all of your content recently, it's been awesome! (Loved your tool box walkthrough and this BTS content is wicked).
Just have a question about your GoPro footage - WHen using your ND filter, are you leaving the shutter on auto still and just banking on the GoPro to use lower than normal shutter speed because of the ND or are you setting your shutter speed manually?
cheers.
Glad you are finding rhe content entertaining, thank you for watching! For the GoPro footage, I will have a full setup video for this coming at some point in the near future, but for now: yes, auto shutter. If you choose the correct ND and continue to use the auto shutter the camera's stabilization functions much better in my experience and you still get the added motion blur. Hope this helps!
How do you handle focus? I assume this camera does not have autofocus does it? Do you use some kind of follow focus?
For the Cable Cam shots, we just set the focus as best we can, no follow the focus system yet. Thanks for watching!
@@PeterJamison Thanks, this is really interesting to me! :)
👍🏼👊🏼
Excellent!
Thank you!
