Just recently started rewatching your videos and I love the pacing and quality, please make more of these riding while talking type videos they are great !! Oh and what do you think of Commencal compared to YT in general, do you prefer their bikes ?
Glad you enjoy the videos, thanks for watching! I don’t have a strong preference for either YT or Commencal, just about every bike brand out there these days offers some solid bikes. Some may just be better in certain areas than others 🤘🏼
do you think that the tempo with a similair build like yours could handle light enduro? i live in a relativly flat country and want a more of a do it all bike. fun to jib with but that can also pin it downhill. we dont really have more than 300ft of climbing..
Awesome info., helping me pull the trigger on a DH finally. For regular riding (not racing), what wheel size would you recommend? Assuming 27.5 or mullet, thanks!
They have so much mountain to cover and pre existing trails to maintain that it would be impossible for them to have each run be action packed the whole way down ✌🏼
@@PeterJamison That makes sense. It doesn't stop a lot of other similar places though, still a super fun place don't get me wrong haha the new trail looks really fun too
At the moment, no, but I do keep my pistons well serviced so they typically advance accurately. That said, I would like to build a wedge to get the bite point exactly where I like it 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Feels solid - Alloy frame really helps the bike feel composed, but it still only has a 27.5 front wheel which is not as ideal for tech as a mullet setup ✌🏼
Love the video bro! Stoked on the next build! I just built up my custom 2024 Yeti SB165 with the new Fox 38 X2 and I’ve gotta say, this bike is one hell of a weapon. Climbs better than my Spire did and rides insanely well on descents! You’re going to absolutely love that frame. Looking forward to the next vid!
YT Tues for new, but really there are so many cheap used ones that are better than 90% of the riders they carry. I'm totally in love with my 27" bike from 2017 with coil front and back. Like going from paddle shift to 5 speed if you will forgive the car metaphor, gives you the feels.
I work as a content creator/athlete for my sponsors, and RUclips is a portion of that as well as other social media platforms and content for the brands channels. Previously I worked as a filmmaker/photographer in the MTB industry ✌🏼
@@PeterJamison That's dope man! Quick question, I also live in CO and ride on the front range. I currently have a Meta AM and it's quite overkill so am looking for something that climbs easier but still rips downhill. I'm debating between the TEMPO and a Ripley, everyone keeps telling me get the Ripley, but I wanted to get your thoughts!
Thanks for watching! More information about RAD can be found here: ruclips.net/video/rHagRovHSYs/видео.html
Only been to 2 bike parks, but feel like Winter Park is something quite special. Love it there.
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!
So hyped to get your thoughts on the 165 vs the HD6, went back and forth for a while but finally ordered the 165 💪🏽
Oh rad, hope you are enjoying it!

Yes, absolutely. That is discussed in this video: ruclips.net/video/kh9oR_rdagE/видео.htmlsi=2qMqpVshwOwRrK7U 👊🏼
Can you run a bash guard/chain guide on the Tempo?
You can run an upper guide, but no bash guard from my understanding ✌🏼
So cool you Can ride all week
Definitely spoiled! Thanks for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
Awesome info., helping me pull the trigger on a DH finally. For regular riding (not racing), what wheel size would you recommend? Assuming 27.5 or mullet, thanks!
I’m a big fan of the mullet setup! I would only recommend full 27.5 if you are trying to do tricks 👊🏼✌🏼
Why is so much of trestle just straight cut single track without features going across an area? Feel like they could do something with all that space

Do you have the same tire pressure regardless of the terrain you go on? That build looks awesome.
Slight changes sometimes depending on terrain, but for the most part I’m around 25 psi front and 27 psi rear 👊🏼👊🏼
i think they need you at vital 🤙 nice vid
Haha cheers Quinn, hope you are well!
Do you insert a wedge or anything in the caliper to advance the pistons accurately?
At the moment, no, but I do keep my pistons well serviced so they typically advance accurately. That said, I would like to build a wedge to get the bite point exactly where I like it 🤘🏼🤘🏼
How does the FRS feel on tech?
Feels solid - Alloy frame really helps the bike feel composed, but it still only has a 27.5 front wheel which is not as ideal for tech as a mullet setup ✌🏼
Do you know Euel? Hes been an instructor up there for quite a few years
I do not ✌🏼 Thanks for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
How do you feel about going from a carbon DH frame back to aluminum?
Still adjusting to it 🤘🏼 Some pros and some cons for sure ✌🏼
What are the pros and cons?
Con: less responsive, heavier
Pro: More damped ride feel for technical terrain
👊🏼

im looking to buy budget new full suspension mtb, do you have any reccomendations?
No specific recommendation, just whatever fits your price range 👊🏼🤘🏼

Both are sick bikes, I’ve been really happy with my Tempo though and would definitely recommend it 👊🏼
Are you now sponsored by commencal? Also what helmet do you have
That is discussed at the end of the video ✌🏼👊🏼
@@PeterJamisonthank you
👊🏼👊🏼
For helmet: I use the Fox Rampage Pro Carbon 👊🏼
