i haven't been too well these days, it's been a while since i've felt like myself, so i wanted to just disappear from anyone for a while and delete my socials. i doubt it'd made an impact but what can u do,
, i finally got myself an acoustic guitar after only using an electric to begin with a couple months back, im so excited, it sounds sm cleaner espeically bc i feel like im always shout singing when i play w my eletric haha !!.
i've definitely never really seriously sung before in my entire life, but i thought this was pretty fun, i only hope to get better from here haa. just to be more optimistic, bc i definitely need to be, i only hope to see where I can go from here! i definitely want to sing more clairo and whatever, dad!

Replying to this because I've dealt with it before, talked to another musician that was once in that situation, and I care about everybody that doesn't feel in the right state of mind. Your description is extremely relatable. I haven't felt like myself for over decade now and I'm only 17, but I found music, not people to help me through life so much though. I'm so bogged down in work that I can't write the albums that I used to, but I was thinking of going into psychology since that's really all people use me for (therapy). I can tell you that disappearing from social media is not the answer, but getting away from social media overall for some time is good. Try not to cut ties with everybody like I did once. Changing mindsets and such is easier said than done, but just take some time and breathe. I hope I can help and if you ever need anything your comment section has your back, or at least I do.

I struggle to find the confidence to show myself playing songs in real life and online, for no good reason im just self conscious and stuff, but seeing people just post themselves playing a song that they like helps me feel like maybe there are people who care and maybe it could be worth it to get over the fear even just once, and put myself out there. Anyway this is great, very inspirational

It’s a steel stringed acoustic. Clario songs might sound better on a classical (nylon string) though in my opinion.
