We were going to book our next family holiday to Korea back in 2019/ 2020. As covid was starting out around the world we decided not to go ahead. We adopted 3 children from South Korea. It is so nice to see places we have visited, through your vlogs, brings back wonderful memories. The persimmon cake looked amazing. The field of pink grass and the cosmos were so beautiful
The Rice cooker pro-tip that I learned from 백종원's show Delicious Rendevous is to defrost or heat up bread by steaming it in the rice cooker. I use it all the time when I need warm, soft bread and it's so tender it's ridiculous. I'm not in Korea to try it but I'd love to see you attempt it with convenience store or PB bread and see if it takes it to another level

I loved the twice a week schedule on your channel out of many reasons, one being that it's inspiring to actually be able to witness you going after passions more (exploring, arting away, writing), the other being the fact that no one showcases Seoul the way you do - a city to live in, not a city to live by . But I always wondered how you managed that and you opening up about that a little confirms a few thoughts. As always I'm just thankful and happy that you share the way you do - I am more here for a sane schedule than twice a week content, but I am glad that you feel comfortable enough to adjust the way you feel like it 🤍🤍

love this vlog. Especially with being stuck for most of the pandemic the normals days vlog in particular always cheer me up for some reason. I think it is a good choice to stick with the scedule you're most comfortable with. If that is once a week that is once a week. It's your channel and do what is good for you; you should not feel pressured to make content all the time. That's not healthy.

Your enjoyment of filming, editing, and posting videos is of utmost importance. That so many people like what you do, where you go, what you eat, drink, etc is the icing on top. Even when not everyone would've gone to where you went or eaten what you did, at the very least they delight in seeing what you share of your weekly routines. The point will always be that you like doing it. We can train ourselves to anticipate fewer videos from you per week, per fortnight. ^J^

I loved Dune !! Especially the music, I thought it was incredible. Really craving persimmon bread now, never tasted it but I love persimmon and banana bread so what could go wrong. Hi Kari, I love your videos and look forward to seeing more in November. Your videos are what have helped to inspire me to move to South Korea - I'm currently getting my ducks in a row and hope to be there in the spring next year (pandemic and job dependent). I can't wait to visit a lot of the places you've taken us to. Your enjoyment of filming, editing, and posting videos is of utmost importance. That so many people like what you do, where you go, what you eat, drink, etc is the icing on top. Even when not everyone would've gone to where you went or eaten what you did, at the very least they delight in seeing what you share of your weekly routines. The point will always be that you like doing it. We can train ourselves to anticipate fewer videos from you per week, per fortnight. ^J^

Your vlogs always make me so happy! And to answer your question about persimmons, I actually think they have a round, silky sweet flavour! Kinda taste like honey but has that weird consistency of a vegetable, maybe a mix between zucchini and mango?
I loved Dune !! Especially the music, I thought it was incredible.
Really craving persimmon bread now, never tasted it but I love persimmon and banana bread so what could go wrong. Autumn really is the best !!

I miss Korea so much. My girlfriend is from Busan but lived in Seoul a long time and I lived there with her last year for 3 months. Now we’re doing a crazy vanlife adventure in Europe, making RUclips videos for Koreans to help familiarize them with this lifestyle. Yada yada. Love your videos always, Cari. Cheers.
