Are there any advantages of changing the hpfp if you aren’t running the e85? I have a custom 93 tune through brew city boost with the ez lynk tuner. Can’t run e85 with that one.
I'd recommend talking with your tuner. You should see more power if tuned correctly. I would upgrade the hp and lpfp to benefit though.
There absolutely is! If you're running upgraded turbos and the supporting the factory hpfp starves the engine at low rpm's because they are driven by the camshaft. These XDI EVO hpfp's will give you the basically spooloup faster to give the engine the fuel its calling for. Most tuners will tube the their tunes back to compensate for this short fall but it definitely makes your ecoboost run as it's supposed to.
Did you have aftermarket injectors?
No. I'm gonna see what numbers it gets on e85 without first. Should be at peak hp/tq before stuff starts coming apart.
