off topic, but i reached LEM in cs with mouse acceleration settings like xantares (1.05) and i was just wondering if you knew what the curve would be in rawaccel since i'm so used to it.
This video is fantastic. I’ve been using raw accel for a year or so now and this is the best video I’ve seen that explains how to use the tool. I’ve relied off of experimenting, trail and error, and whatever info I can gleam from the post-your-curve channel in the raw accel discord and this video has given me a better understanding of how the things I’ve been experimenting with work.
I’ve tried raw accel today and instantly saw results. This video helped me get familiar with some of the settings and found a curve that feels right. I’ve never been more accurate while being able to turn fast. I no longer lift my mouse and adjust as often.
what curve are you running? Im still looking at default linear curves and i know i need raw accel (played games for 10 years using a trackpad, which, if you dont know, automatically has an acceleration program installed, or else the trackpad would be SUPER slow)

I've only started fiddling around with rawaccel but these are the settings I like so far: Jump, smooth 0, input 5 or 6, output 2. Rn testing whether I like gain or not. Mouse I'm using is SPC LIX which uses PMW3325 sensor that behaves badly above 2100DPI, as tested by some reviewers. My natural usage is 1600DPI and that's what I prefer in most games and most importantly desktop use. In FPS games I might change it down a bit depending on game, will go anywhere between 800dpi and 1600dpi. So anyway I have it set to jump accel from 1600 to 3200 (because sens multiplier = 1) and I just lower it in game to 0.5. I get good micro adjustments and can still do nice flicks. Using finger grip, aiming with mostly wrist, but do make adjustments with fingers and arm. No rotation as my horizontal lines are very nice, 0 slope. 1.25 Y/X ratio. I've only used this for few hours but I don't think I can comfortably play FPS games anymore without rawaccel. Oh and I'm fiddling around with classic curves but I think jump is better.
I tried raw accel before but stopped using it because I found it pretty confusing at first. coming back to it watching your vids and I'm setting new top scores on aim trainers and osu. it's been an insane help watching your vids and getting help from the discord. thanks!
I installed raw accel a few days now after watching your videos I'm suprised how intuitive it felt for me after messing with the settings. Im new to mouse and keys and it made so much easier to control
so as soon as you came to the part of explaining how to get my acceleration figuered out I didn't understand anything anymore, you said something about my input cap x value needing to be as close to 1.7 as possible, i don't know what an input cap x value is and I don't understand what the number I got out of calculating as you showed in the video means
A pro everyone should consider: the most accurate aim anyone has is wrist aim. When you have to use your arm to aim you usuallly have to micro adjust with your wrist. Your accel curve allows you to use your wrist for all types of big flicks and micro adjustments. Meaning your flicks can potentially become as accurate as your micro adjustments.
Try rotation. It allows you to hold your mouse at an angle and get the normal inputs. Made my superlight go from 7-8/10 comfort to 9/10 since I just hold it how I want to, not how I feel I need to.
I used natural until now because S4 recommended it in his ow guide, now I transferred into valorant and looking forward to try this out. Natural did felt okay but at some point it did feel like a burden.

Just play on a normal low/mid sens bro, uninstall the program while ur at it too it eats up ur CPU, make ur graphics and resolution low too for low input delay.
The first number that I got was an average of 4 counts/ms and subtracting 10 (flat part of my curve using power of 3) from this would give a negative number. Does that just mean my input offset is 0?
I have a question that I really need answered. What is raw accel mainly used for? To speed up flicks or to have essentially two different senses if you have 15-30 offset
When I played fortnite I got used to hellaaa slow sens like my friend tried my sen and he higher the dpi by 800 to 1600 and he liked that so my sen is 500 dpi 1.4 what should I change it to pls tell me what I should change it to so I move my mouse pretty fast so I have to move my mouse like 3 time to do a 360 and I have a big mouse pad
The problem I have with using a high dpi is some games I play dont go as low as valorant, and I find it very awkward so thats the reason I will probably stay on 800 forever
Basically you don’t want it to accelerate too far so you cap it. This makes consistently understanding speed easier. Usually you don’t let the graph go past 2x, and you play around with it in game and kvks to figure out an exact cap
Does Raw Accel hurt ur aim long term for example if I were to stop using Raw Accel after using it for a year would my natural aim be worse than it was before? Also is there a “best” graph layout or curve for valorant im currently using natural.
For the first question, I would recommend training with it off somewhat frequently to avoid under developing certain muscles, for the second, if a curve works it works

Is there a way to have this setting permanent or do I have to load up the program every time?
7:02 i need that raw accel setting it really look smooth to me based on the KovaaK’s in the background. Please can you give me all the details 🙏
I have a question that I really need answered. What is raw accel mainly used for? To speed up flicks or to have essentially two different senses if you have 15-30 offset
Those are pretty much the same reason. I have a few other accel videos that go in more depth. Check out the why radiants use raw accel one
i play really fst sense with 1600 dpi and 0.294 sense in game what type of curve should i use its really hard for me to hit long range shots
ex-DZ member Andersin is one of the reasons I tried it a while back :)
When zex and I were talking, he showed me a ss from I think ange but I don’t remember saying “another teammate lost to accel”
I kinda don’t get the last part about the 1.7 max speed. What am I supposed to look at on the graph in order to find a calculation for it
It’s just an approximation
Thanks for the video! If we don't have Kovaaks, what should we do on Aim Lab to find our numbers?
NV Yay strafe
When I played fortnite I got used to hellaaa slow sens like my friend tried my sen and he higher the dpi by 800 to 1600 and he liked that so my sen is 500 dpi 1.4 what should I change it to pls tell me what I should change it to so I move my mouse pretty fast so I have to move my mouse like 3 time to do a 360 and I have a big mouse pad
can someone help me since I uninstalled raw accel I feel like something happened to my dpi (I only tested 1 day raw accel)
The problem I have with using a high dpi is some games I play dont go as low as valorant, and I find it very awkward so thats the reason I will probably stay on 800 forever
dude gave a fix to this probelm 30 sec into the video
Does raw accel useful with 400dpi? If you can, can you try helping me because I really wanna try raw accel.
this guy sounds like owen wilson with a valorant accent
DPI?
7:49 I absolutely have no idea what your talking about in this part, can you explain it more simply?
Basically you don’t want it to accelerate too far so you cap it. This makes consistently understanding speed easier. Usually you don’t let the graph go past 2x, and you play around with it in game and kvks to figure out an exact cap
may I ask what is RAW ACCEL?
i am really confused. HArd for me to follow. The Offset is negative when i do it this way and i cant find your playlist in aimlabs
Just play on a normal low/mid sensitivity bro.
what number did we write down before?
Does Raw Accel hurt ur aim long term for example if I were to stop using Raw Accel after using it for a year would my natural aim be worse than it was before? Also is there a “best” graph layout or curve for valorant im currently using natural.
For the first question, I would recommend training with it off somewhat frequently to avoid under developing certain muscles, for the second, if a curve works it works
basicly i still dont know what to put im 800 dpi 0.400 sens
How can I see input speed after 60 counts/ms
red dot ddoesnt appear on raw accel
Can you give me the settings I should use for 0.23 800dpi
