Melissa Bonny 😍 She is also a fantastic growler. She's another - like Floor Jansen - who is as sweet as she is beautiful. This album is based around King Louis XIV of France, and the Bubonic plague that ravaged Europe. The parallels with our current situation couldn't be more obvious - although it's more by coincidence than design, as the album was written pre-Covid.

I'd suggest the official videos to Marching On Versailles and I Am The Storm. After either of those, Rage Of Light's song Mechanicals, also with Melissa Bonny as the lead singer, but the guy who founded the band does growling backing vocals and his growling tone is nearly identical to Melissa's so it can be confusing if you aren't familiar with her growls. Cheers!
The talented bass player had a knee problem. So they all sat to play the acoustic version of this song for one last time before he left the band. He refused to unplug his. It's a nice memory after all. 😋
Kudos for Harold for suggesting Ad Infinitum with Melissa Bonny (She reminds me of young Jessica Alba) on vocals. Now I don't have to, although they are one of my favourite new metal bands from Europe so I make no promises. E.g. their 1st single "I Am the Storm" is too great to ignore.

Melissa is a goddess of metal. Incredibly beautiful, radiant, possessing an angelic, soulful voice.

You're welcome and thanks for the kind words! Have to admit that I've only heard about three Ad Infinitum songs myself, so I can't recommend one over the other, although all were good so I'd say dive in!

Melissa Bonny is as beautiful as she is talented. So sad that she is leaving Rage of Light. It won't be the same without her. Whatever she decides to do I'll listen to it.
The thing she gave rhytm seemed one hand rattle (stolen from drummer prhps, lol). Castanets or clackers are when one of you starts dancing flamenco - I suggest Mike...😁
