My Gay short film obsession lol... it's cute I like it... the good and bad about short films... they're the best but they're always too short and want more ... love happy endings... wish life worked like that
Oh yeah, most often they ARE gay. Having a girlfriend or wife doesn't mean a thing. I just feel sorry for the woman caught up in some guys confusion and indecision, she's the one that always gets hurt.
So sweet ! I was a little bit sad for the lovely girl BUT he chose the best way ! Its better finish a relationship and have some pain than living a lie and hurting someone who does not deserve it ! BRAVO !!! Tres joli .
my friend all through 6 and 7th grade told us she was not gay, she then came out this year, we are in 8th grade. she even has a girl friend. i honestly think the whole school thought she was gay, but there not wrong, me and my other friends when she told us we just said we already knew you where. btw me and my other friends most of them are also gay including me...etc
Kudos to you! You have clearly expressed the emotion, anxiety, tension, and dread that comes along with the moment of gay awakening. That moment when the awoken one realizes their world is about to explode for the better. Bring to us more of that skill you possess.....
So many closeted guys would have taken the coward way out and kept lying to themselves and their girlfriends. Good for Billy for loving himself and his girlfriend enough to tell the truth so they both can find the love they deserve.
zanthus7 rite... I did for a while but when I came out to my gf she broke up w me... I was ok with it but then she realized it wasn't easy for me and my feelings were real, I did love her... in the end we decided to part ways... Uhhm. I dont get your comment at all, sorry lel
One of the most touching gay short films I have seen to date. The acting is very heartfelt with a tender plot. The actors playing Phil and Oscar are both HOT!!! The chemistry between them is just beautiful, plus the kiss was cute too. Coming to terms with your sexual identity is tough but it does no good to deny who you are and truly want. So good Phil's girlfriend was accepting, that is the best way to be. The end was sweet, I would have liked to see them kiss again yet nonetheless a well done Romance story.
XxKarlosxX Well that's true what you're saying but remember in the movie Call me by your name, Elio was 17 years old and Oliver was a grad student. Well I am a grad student and I'm 21, maybe he must have been 24 or something, still that's not a grown man to me. It's just that Armie Hammer looks older but he potrayed the role of a much younger Oliver.

This short film has captivated me..yes the power of human touch..bravo to the filmmaker
You mean like most gay films - doom and gloom and really depressing at the end 😉 Seriously! why do film makers do that! Most heterosexual relationship films have a happy ending so why do film makers always portray gay people as having a really hard time in anything to do with love and romance! It doesn’t help people who are just coming out at all !!!!!!!!
what a fantastic film. It is such a hard thing. I was married for 18.5 years to a woman when and suppressed myself for decades. Not now, and thank God my ex-wife was as understanding as this girl was. Well done, Isabella.
What I love about this film is the breakup. Here's why. The girl is so understanding. She didnt have a huge meltdown. She didnt call him and asshole and kick him out. What I'm assuming is that he told her that he is in fact gay. And where I know it hurt her, she also didn't want him to keep living a lie. Doesnt mean he doesnt love her. He does. He just isn't in love with her, because hes in love with him. She understands and fully accepts him. They probably will remain close friends. And that's beautiful. The reason I'm happy about this, is because I feel like our generation, the age they are are, majority of us would have that reaction to the honest coming clean that he showed to her. She probably figures that if he kept going like he did, it would just end up eat him alive living a lie. And hey he got the guy at the end who didn't treat him like scum. He knew he needed to find himself and figure out what he wanted. For A LOT of LGBTQ+ people, it's not easy and it can be scary. Yes, we are more widely accepted now, but there is still a lot of hate and cruelty towards the community. This shows the lighter side of that which is lovely and may be just what someone needs to see in order to gain confidence to be who they are. Now, it is pride month currently, so it's good to see something have a happy ending. However dont forget those who dont get it this easy. Love is love no matter who it is. Something this world still needs to learn. Let us live, love, fight, learn and grow. We are simply people trying to make it in this world, just like you.
Title and ending alined, it's poetic, smooth and sobre. It portrayes this true first epiphany through the first crush for another boy, the confusion and excitment at the same time. But you managed to make it seem very "organic", totally natural. As if the gay theme was just aside from the main point: which is just being true to one's self, and respectful to "the other", regardless of who you are, and who you get attracted to. The beauty of this short movie is that I could picture guys, girls, all types of color, age to play the different parts... sexual orientation is not relevant. Everybody's allowed to get involved with anybody they feel a connection with. Great job here, powerful message!
Sometimes it's hard to embrace who we are👌👏. Whether it's with gender identity or sexual orientation💯💯. First you have to accept it yourself before you can embrace it!💁💁 It's definitely an everyday commitment! But once you finally accept that you're gay, bisexual, lesbian, transgender, etc,. Things will brighten up and you wish that you would've came out sooner or atleast thats my experience! I love this film! It's lovely and I'm so glad that I found it 🌈🌈
Oh, many congratulations to you for a piece of very creative storytelling! The time skips/non-chronological order made it intriguing, but not hard to follow. And well done for skipping what would all to easily have been clichéd scenes, such as letting us see the main character actually telling his girlfriend. instead, we get her reaction, which has much more of an impact. This is excellent work!
OMG I just discovered this. I love that its filmed in Lyttelton and around Christchurch as I live there. I really hope you are still making films as its like almost 5 years ago. Just wanted to say, very sweet film I enjoyed it.
This was funny. The dialogue wasn't great, the acting wasn't great but the shot temporality and photography was interesting. The chemistry between the two was good too :)
Naw but the girlfriend actually handled that situation so well - like it's totally understandable for her to be heartbroken, but she was compassionate enough to realise that he didn't tell her for a reason to start with, etc. and she accepted him anyway
The ending was sweet. It was also funny at the same time because how they constantly looked at each and then had a blank expression as they hooded hands
At first, I was confused as heck. I was like "where is this going? what the heck is happening?" But, now I l know. This was very satisfying. I loved it

I love when guys always start by saying I'm not gay, I have a girlfriend.

Then there’s me I’m not gay I have a airplane ticket

Ayaan Hussain I thought the end was happy with them holding hands by the bus stop.
Ayaan Hussain The movie was really cleverly edited with the different pieces of the story scrambled and not in chronological order.
I had to watch it twice to understand the order.....
Ayaan Hussain 💋
Ingela Bjorklund it's not sad. Short and sweet.
Why don’t people have to come out as straight? I hate how being straight is “normal” and any other sexuality is not.
Ruben O'Connor sexuality ***
no offense though I just really think it's wrong when people mess up between gender and sexuality
