I actually really liked that they didn't kiss... They took time to get to know eachother and become friends instead of taking an instant sexual turn. It was a sweet short story.
Claudia Coy (as "Jess") takes a character who it would be tempting to play as irritating, and manages to make herself quite charming in the role. That's called great acting, and hats off to her for conveying so much in this short performance. The film as a whole gets very high marks. Thanks for making and sharing this with us.
Awesome short film! This definitely needs a sequel or in three parts. Second one could be when Matt's spends the last two days with Joe before he flies off to Amsterdam and the third is when Matt bump into Joe once again years later at Jessica's house party both still single.

Really gorgeous actors, both of you, luckily garnering roles that suit you right down to the ground -- opposites, but so alike. I'm awfully glad Matt just couldn't leave the very handsome stranger. But , I am somewhat mystified by the fact that his best friend is some kind of employee in an an eggshell painting factory. The girl needs Ritalin. Just goes to show you what a really kind hearted soul Matt is -- as we say in New York "too good of a guy not to find happiness." And such eyes! And such a smile!

Amsterdam nice movie just wish there was five more minutes is two young men are very attractive and they want each other in the worst way! This was a brilliant movie. Thanks to everybody who made this possible. DRS.

The young woman playing Jess did rather a good job of the character. A bit shallow without being so clueless as to be unable to function; a little bit of the kind of behaviour you'd expect from a slightly brittle former high school queen bee; unintentionally rude; the desire for the party to be a huge hit instead of enjoying it as it is. Sure, it's kind of a trope, but it's a trope that's done reasonably convincingly. I thought the film was okay. It didn't seem like Matt and Joe had enormous chemistry, but it wasn't bad by any means.
Honestly, the acting could have been better like no one really acts that way when the person you like walks up to you. Sure, your heart starts beating faster and you're a bit nervous but you never say "OH GOD" to their face :3
