The fact that you mention the AirPods 3 having more bass than the pros , makes me happy and excited. I have the pros and I like the sound on them but I always that the bass was more at lower volumes. I have to drive them at near max volumes to meaningfully feel the bass. After watching your review, I’m actually seriously contemplating getting the 3.
@@Albery.93 I mean I had the 3 and I got the pros now , the pros sound a lot better because if you go to headphone safety in sounds and haptics , and you turn it up the bass on the pros sound so a amazing , if you keep the bar at 75db it will sound kinda low , if u turn it up to 100 you will not even hear your own voice if you play a song or a video

I had the pros, loved the sound but the fit and uncomfortably made me return and get the beats fit which felt uncomfortable and cheap!!! So I now have the airpod 3 and they are fantastic! Sound quality is brilliant and they fit and hold superb!
Maybe you should try something other than apple products, there are a variety of earbuds that I favor over the airpods, although I have the 2's and use them too

Frankly to say AirPods 3 has better fit at least for my ears , for performance I think AirPods 2 (my previous AirPods) & 3 are very similar except for spatial audio For sweat proof etc , my AirPods 2 frankly never had an issue Battery life I didn’t feel difference between 1,2 and 3rd gen 🤷🏼♂️

I agree with you I was at the store the other day and I don’t really like silicons ear-tips but and had a choice of the 3s or pros and I gave the pros a chance and first day with them I somehow love them I don’t really like the non silicone AirPods like the 2s it became uncomfortable throughout the years so pros is the best for me

I happen to buy the AirPods Pro 2 recently and even though they sound great but to my disappointment, the in-ear irritate me a lot plus I happen to get headaches and also I feel my tinnitus get triggered more so I was thinking of giving them away. After watching this review, I feel that 3 would be the ideal choice for me as I really liked my 2 and I think I would stick to the regular ones. As much as I wanted to stay with the Pro ones, I have come to this realisation that in-ear buds are simply not for me.

They didn’t fall out but after just 10 minutes of use they started to hurt my ears and I couldn’t do anything about it but just take them off but that’s because of my ear shape, everybody has different ears shapes so you just have to take your luck and see if they fit well.
I got my airpod pros yesterday and I love them. They where on sale on Amazon for only 15 dollars more than the 3s and I think that makes it an obvious decision to pick the pros.

Funny, I ordered AP3 10 minutes before I saw this video. Like you, I’ve had the AP Pro and found them uncomfortable, preferring the non-ear tip design. My right AP Pro started buzzing last week (third time with this issue) so I’m getting away from the Pros. Great video as usual.
Exactly my experience! I’m getting a faint creaky buzz on my right AP Pro that’s really getting on my nerve. The intrusive eartip is also making my ears itchy all the time.
Thank you for the video but I don't agree with you, I have the pros and they sit very comfortably in my ear and noise cancellation is amazing, AirPods 2 for example doesn't sit in my ear and fall all the time while only walking , I never tried the 3 though , I think it depends on the persons ears not all are the same, and of course the AirPods 3 are newer so normally they should have some better features like the battery ... , you just need to compare them with the upcoming pro 2, blessings

What's with everyone hating the silicone tips, I personally love them compare to those kind that sits on ear, it stretches my ear and are uncomfortable. While silicone tips form to the shape of my ear and I feel secure from it.
Thanks for the great comparison. When I first decided to by air pods I went with the 3 number one cheaper and number 2 I can’t keep any pods in my ears with those silicone tips. Tried older style headphones with them and. They just don’t stay in and I have to constantly push them back in. My AirPods 3 though I can wear them for hours and no discomfort only occasional readjustment. I just got to remember to give them a little twist up to seat them better. My right ear seems to have a lesser fit though than my left ear. But I do love them and glad I went with the 3. Thanks for your comparison. Nice vid!
I have the wired EarPods right now and that’s exactly my query is about which you somehow already answered in the video. They sit in my ears perfectly so I guess the 2nd Gen will do the same. The 3rd Gen though is what I’m eyeing for, just concerned about the fit. There are no stores where I live that have fit testers or anything so it is a financial risk for me.
Personally I didn’t like the pros, I found them super uncomfortable and wasn’t a fan of the squeeze feature and ended up returning them. Picked the AirPods 2 on sale and honestly I love them much more, more comfortable for more short term listening like an hour, I work in a shop and use some soundcores I can get dirty and dusty, but my AirPods are always in my pocket outside of work and always using them for calls or at home when streaming. I may consider giving the airpod 3s a shot after this review mostly for the spatial audio.

Yeah...great video coverage E, but....I'm in the no-fit camp of AirPods 3. Even the OG AirPods started falling out my left ear over the years. I still miss them, but with the Pro's, guess I can't look back. You even said it: for commuting they really can't be knocked. I live in NYC. that should say enough.
I find the 3’s don’t fit as well in my ear as 2’s as I have smaller ear canal. And I have Jabra ear tip ear buds and can’t stand the silicone ear tips.

My airpods pro keep gliding out of my ears. But it turns out that I have a condition called post nasal drip. I have excess mucus production behind my nose which often enters my ear canals. My eartips always get dirty pretty fast

As compared to over-the-ear headphones, AirPods are a risk when it comes to fit. That being said, the Pros are really comfortable for me, and as with your 3 experience, I forget that they're in. I'd also have to say that the noise canceling is better than fair, in my experience. My body relaxes as the drone of the office HVAC and other equipment disappears.
100% agree with this comment. I think a lot of this has to do with your ear shape. Apple has put a LOT of research into the AirPods and I'm sure they went with the most common ear shape for all of their AirPods models. The difference with the pros is that they fit down inside your ear deeper and this isn't the same for every one. For me, the medium tip that come installed by default are the perfect fit. The noise cancelling is WAY better than the Google Pixel buds I'd been using prior to the AirPods Pro. If someone walks into my office at work and starts talking I can't hear them until I turn noise cancelling off or take the AirPods out of me ears. That's pretty damn good if you ask me.

The only reason why I won’t ever buy the pros is because in ear headphones don’t fit in my ears? Slilocone tips just never are comfortable for me and I have to push them back in my ears every 40 secs or so, that’s why I “downgraded” from the pros and got the air pods 3, they fit well and they are comfortable just like the wired apple headphones use to be, for noise canceling and transparency mode I would have to take a look at the air pods max.
All these features,im using airpods 3 with no features :) on android and my old baseus w04 which are the same design as airpods 1/2 are still more confortable( i can use the airpods 1/2 design like 24 hours a day, but the airpods 3 4-7 hours depending if i use them daily, im wondering where airpods pro will be "assigned" ,anyways compared to my other old earphones samsung gear icon x 2018 which are verry uncomfortable i mostly used them at gym for 50-80 mins and my ears were burning after the first 20 min or so

The inear design is exactly whst pro musicians use in case of music quality. When inear headphones don't fit you won't get the deep frequencies and the sound is below average. That's an issue with that type of headphones. But if they do you get a way better sound experience than with the airpods non-pro design. Sound quality is a private point of view because we have different sized ears. The better wireless ear buds from Sony, Sennheiser, Bose or B&W share the inear design for a reason. So when you claim that the pro design is just for ANC you're wrong. It's also for better sound quality. The Apple airpods standard design is for people who don't like and can't fit real inear headphones They don't have high expectations on sound. It's more comfortable and don't bother them a lot.

If you search on internet for "antitragus in ear", that part is bigger for me, so that causes ear fatigue if the earbud is bigger. Now that you know my scenario, can you pls suggest? I have suffered the same problems as you with regards to the AirPods Pro….I have bought, literally, all of the branded Apple in ears, including Beats, just to try to find the in-ear holy grail. I must have wonky ears! After purchasing everything, I’ve found thus far my favourite in-ear of Apple in ears is the Beats Fit Pro (I think because they hold into my ear comfortably), but I tend to use my AirPod Max headphones because nothing is really the holy grail for me, sigh.

I used to have an in-ear buds from another high-end brand (older ver). And whenever I'm chewing or moving my jaw. It usually gets dislodged. Worse, fall off my ears. Not sure if it's due to me using the wrong ear tip size. Did you experience this with either the Air Pods 3 or any of the 2 Pro models?

I got the 3rd generation because soon as I seen the pros, I knew I didnt like them as soon as I seen them. Im so happy u said the 3’s are better since thats what I have 😊
AirPods Pro we’re pretty uncomfortable for quite a while. I’d even get scabs in my ears. Now it’s like my ear shape changed to fit the airpods. Now I wear them 24/7 and have 2 pairs. They block out a lot of noise.

4:38, for me the pro sounds much better. The 3 has some sort of resonance in the middle high. Also the bass sounds cleaner on the pro, not louder but cleaner. I’ll go with the pro, thank you for this comparison 👍
My airpods gen 1’s have been sent back for my 2nd year of warranty, but it’s been over 2 weeks since i sent them to be fixed, so hopefully i can get a refund and must pay an extra £20 for premium airpods 😅
Good thing I only paid $109 on my Airpods Pro because I won a voucher at Lazada Philippines, but I should have waited for the Airpods 3, the eartips on the pro is not that comfortable.
I have the wired version of Airpods, and I feel it constantly going to fall out from my ear. (not sure if is simply caused by the wire ). I have owned the airpods pro for 1 month but I couldn't stand the silicone tip. If I dont find the wired airpods comfortable, will the airpods 3 work for me?

I have the 3s and I can confidently say they sound better than the Pros, I sold my pros and kept my 3s, definitely more comfortable and sound amazing.

In my opinion sound on 3 is not as good as on pro... clarity and sound stage is much better on pro's. Low's is not everything in music, right?
I completely agree with you. Low is not everything. Because of incompatible fit tho, I have neither with the Pro's.

Good question. There are a few videos that do mic tests. I think the Airpods max have better mics than either of them.

I think it’s personal preference tbh the airpod pros are freaking amazing I love them personally noice cancellation is amazing 3s are good but that noise cancellation hits difference but I love my pros

The inear design is exactly whst pro musicians use in case of music quality. When inear headphones don't fit you won't get the deep frequencies and the sound is below average. That's an issue with that type of headphones. But if they do you get a way better sound experience than with the airpods non-pro design. Sound quality is a private point of view because we have different sized ears. The better wireless ear buds from Sony, Sennheiser, Bose or B&W share the inear design for a reason. So when you claim that the pro design is just for ANC you're wrong. It's also for better sound quality. The Apple airpods standard design is for people who don't like and can't fit real inear headphones They don't have high expectations on sound. It's more comfortable and don't bother them a lot.

I want AirPods for calls & watching content. Now, the problem is most earbuds don't fit my ears(nothing ear1/Jabra 65t).
If you search on internet for "antitragus in ear", that part is bigger for me, so that causes ear fatigue if the earbud is bigger.
Now that you know my scenario, can you pls suggest?

AirPods pro: 175$
AirPods 3: 210$
I have suffered the same problems as you with regards to the AirPods Pro….I have bought, literally, all of the branded Apple in ears, including Beats, just to try to find the in-ear holy grail. I must have wonky ears! After purchasing everything, I’ve found thus far my favourite in-ear of Apple in ears is the Beats Fit Pro (I think because they hold into my ear comfortably), but I tend to use my AirPod Max headphones because nothing is really the holy grail for me, sigh.

I used to have an in-ear buds from another high-end brand (older ver). And whenever I'm chewing or moving my jaw. It usually gets dislodged. Worse, fall off my ears. Not sure if it's due to me using the wrong ear tip size. Did you experience this with either the Air Pods 3 or any of the 2 Pro models?

Not at all. This is my personal preference though.

AirPods Pro we’re pretty uncomfortable for quite a while. I’d even get scabs in my ears. Now it’s like my ear shape changed to fit the airpods. Now I wear them 24/7 and have 2 pairs. They block out a lot of noise.

4:38, for me the pro sounds much better. The 3 has some sort of resonance in the middle high. Also the bass sounds cleaner on the pro, not louder but cleaner. I’ll go with the pro, thank you for this comparison 👍
My airpods gen 1’s have been sent back for my 2nd year of warranty, but it’s been over 2 weeks since i sent them to be fixed, so hopefully i can get a refund and must pay an extra £20 for premium airpods 😅

Good thing I only paid $109 on my Airpods Pro because I won a voucher at Lazada Philippines, but I should have waited for the Airpods 3, the eartips on the pro is not that comfortable.

I have the wired version of Airpods, and I feel it constantly going to fall out from my ear. (not sure if is simply caused by the wire ). I have owned the airpods pro for 1 month but I couldn't stand the silicone tip. If I dont find the wired airpods comfortable, will the airpods 3 work for me?
