Back when I was younger we got my old Labrador due to the family feeling they were "Not in the condition to care for it" when they basically lived mid city in a 2 story with no backyard, they also bitched about chewing up their 7 year old childs barbie dolls and being "uncontrollable with chewing" when we got him, he didn't chew, destroy or piss in door. The poor dog was basically just alone most of the day and bored, we had a huge backyard, and were active out there with the garden over half the year, if he waited at the door it meant he wanted company outside. So even in winter with the snow he just wanted me to go with him out there to do his business, fumble like the fool he was in the snow and get a few tennis ball throws in and get back inside. Else he was fine laying next to us or being near us watching tv or cooking and bedtime he slept in my bed until he got too old to get upstairs, then we let him go on the couch at that age and just kissed him good bye there. Even thou it has been 8 years since he died man I still miss him. Some dogs you really just connect with and become a true partner!

@bunnyluv2535 My sister gained a pure bred cat because of a case like this. The breeder had a cat while the original owners went on vacation, it was brought in a cage, and had been in there for days at least, poo and pee all over her. When they came back they were told it ran away and gave the cat to my sister. Took months for the cat's coat to recover.
Yes that’s so true !! And it goes beyond dogs. I rescued a horse from human society once. Poor thing couldn’t hardly stand. Probably don’t make sense but I was glad to see him one day try to kick me. Lol. He was gaining strength. Turned out to be a beautiful horse. 😊
Hearing the taken back due to neglect, sounds like the breeder was like, "I'm sorry but I didn't realize you were going to be awful to this pup." Then hearing the poor dog was locked in a crate. Glad they got a happy ending.

Our vet ended up having to remove 13 of them, but she felt so much better once that was done. She turns 19 next month, and we hope she's around for a lot more years.
my friend also found her dog in terrible dental condition - she was most likely the bait/breeding dog in pitbull fighting, her teeth were worn down to almost the gums even though she was only approximately 5-6 years old when my friend found her. she found out that Rosie could never be crated because she chewed *through* metal crates on 2 separate occasions just by the sheer force of her jaw muscles and her gums (remember basically no teeth). not to worry though, Rosie got 13 spoiled years on a farm before my friend had to put her down this past spring 🥲

Lovely boy - what an angel! Best of luck for your event tomorrow! 🇬🇧
I have the same dog, 2 yrs old tricolor rough collie. Absolute sweetheart. Smart, gentle, always willing to do what's needed. We both like the grooming, it's our sweet moment.
Poor dog being locked in a crate! So glad he was returned to the breeder and now has a forever home!
He reminds me soo much of my Australian shepherd who sadly recently passed away. He was such a good boy and very chill and calm in his later years.
We had 6 rough collies. Daisy loved paddling but hated getting dried. Roscoe loved get dried but hated getting wet!!!!
Im so glad he found his forever home. What a beautiful baby! 😍
What a little swwet heart ! He connected with you nose to nose. You got his acceptance ❤
I have to say, you always give a quick back ground of these animals in such a manner where it doesnt break us down. Your quick to put a positive spin on it.
Such beautiful dogs! Been one of my favorites since I was little.
Angus is an absolutely Stunning doggo!! I feel so bad for his early treatment and hope he and his forever home are the happiest! Congratulations on the fund raiser, that is pretty incredible!
Such a beautiful dog. He was silent, didnt move his body when his nails were trimmed.
Perfect angel dog.
Angus is a beautiful dog.
It was nice to see a dog so calm and peaceful; allowing you to groom him to perfection.!
🤩❤️🎉
When i was 7 I went on a family vacation to California. We went to Universal studios and I meet Lassie. Although in hindsight, it probably wasn't the actual dog who played the part lol 😅😅😅
Beautiful dog's. Such a long snout!
A rough start to life for Angus; happily he has a good home now. He is a handsome lad ❤
Rough Collie was my first dog just loved him he was the runt of the litter but turned out to be the most beautiful and intelligent dog.
He’s stunning. Glad he’s with a caring forever home now.
Collie's have such a regal face... very pretty dogs and floofy to boot
They are so majestic and they know it
Gosh he was so lovely
Can't believe how well he is behaving for the groom, considering his background! His breeder and new owners have done a fantastic job, or maybe he's just born perfect. 🥰
My wife and I love watching your videos! Keep taking care of the animals we love the see the new dogs and cats!
One of the chillest dogs ever
Angus looks like a model! The wind, a.k.a, the blow dryer blowing through his luscious fur, made me smile. ❤😊
Can't get over the beautiful coat on this dog and how calm he is especially while getting his nails done.
This upload should have been longer. Beautiful collie!❤
Bless his owners for rescuing him.
Oh, I just want to hug him. So glad he got a second chance at a forever home. ❤
Angus is not a pet... he's a spirit animal. ❤😂
What a beautiful breed. Too bad he had a tough start. Hopefully he will get to live the rest of his days enjoying life.
Absolutely stunning Angus! Whoever neglected him, I hope karma gets them big time!!!
Hims is literally the GOODEST of good boys omg
We had a Collie when I was a kid. They are the most gentle and sweet dogs.
What a stunning boy.
I used to have 2 collies. I miss them every day. They were funky, little dudes.
This is why I love collies!!!
And I love Shelties....chill is their middle name
@@miamidolphinsfan what are shelties?
@@alexv3372 Shetland Sheepdogs
@@alexv3372collies with island dwarfism. Collies brought to the Shetland Islands so they shrunk. They’re called Shetland sheepdogs but are nicknamed shelties for short.
Angus is indeed angelic... super chill personality and such a handsome man...
Gosh this has got to be one of the most well behaved dog I've seen. 👌
I love rough collies, I've always wanted to own one. My dad did as a teen and told me all the time about how smart and fun to train she was. He loved that dog so much.
It's devastating that Angus had to go through neglect like that. I'm so glad the breeder found out what happened and took him back, that's a responsible breeder for sure. I'm sure he's very happy in his new forever home, and despite being really nervous, was so polite for his groom. What a good boy!
I'm so glad that he has a new home and can see what being with a good family means. I hope he has the best life.
Rough collies are such an underestimated breed! They are calm, intuitive, gentle, intelligent, patient and overall perfect. I have a 4 yo blue merle female and I’ll never choose another dog breed ❤
I love how he has a "spa day moment" when you do his paws 🙂
I'm learning so much about different breeds of dogs and cats from watching this channel. And Vanessa is such an amazing groomer.
I haven't seen a collie for a long time. He's a beautiful dog.
What a handsome & floofy dude. So glad that Angus finally has a proper Furever Home. I hope he adjusts. Thanks Vanessa & staff @ Girl With The Dogs. You're all awesome. 😁🇨🇦
what a well behaved good boy
He's gorgeous! I'm glad he has his forever home. I don't understand how people can return their pets. I guess I shouldn't be surprised when I see how some people treat their children. Thank you for sharing your world.
Absolutely stunning dog. An “Angel” perfectly described him!
Angus seems so much like a show dog. A perfect angel in every way.
He looks like he’s really relaxed and enjoying his Spa day! Beautiful guy ❤️
He's so beautiful! He reminds me of my childhood Collie. She was such a beautiful, smart, sweet and gentle girl. When I cried, she would stick her snout between my hands to move them and then put her head on my shoulder to comfort me. We got her when I was 10 and she passed when I was 24. It's decades later and I still miss her ❤
What a precious boy!!! I’m so happy he has a family who loves him very much now. I will never understand how people can neglect or abuse their pets 😭😭😭
Angus, you are one handsome dog. What a good boy! . Have fun at the event, Vanessa!
What a sweet beauty. Still taking treats from you during a stressful time. None of dogs would ever do that. Then the nose to nose was adorable. My senior dog I had to put down had a little tiny bit of Collie. She had the fur and herding from the Collie but colored like a Border Collie, which she was not.
He has to get the TOP spot for best dog ever… he just layed down on his side through paw shaving and nail clippings nearly dozing off….relaxed LOL 🎉 What a Champion 🐶 🐕
He’s so beautiful. How can someone buy from a breeder then neglect such a beautiful boy? I’m glad he was returned and given a chance for a proper life!
He looks just like my sweet Casey, although she was a Sheltie. Angus is so sweet tempered and gorgeous. Im glad he found a wonderful forever family.
