Awesome video #replayfam. My pick is the Brio! I've tested both of these webcams extensively, and I've been using the Brio as my main camera for the past two years. Super true about the colors. The white balance of the Facecam can't match up to the Brio. I do like the build of it though. It's easy to tilt and adjust. The Brio is kinda stuck in place.
Even though the most streaming services don't allow 4K (or they cap the bitrate so much 4K isn't viable), the Brio's 4K is super good for the price. I use OBS to enable it and adjust all the settings there, but other software often won't have the 4K option at all. For RUclips videos it's really clean.
I prefer Logitech brio…looks sooo cool

I own a Brio but haven't used it yet, had me worried when I saw the yellow feed from the Elgato I was like oh darn but thankfully that wasn't the Brio :)
Also the style of the cam body on the Brio looks soooooo much better than the face cam Logitech all the way. #ReplayFam
Thank you for the comparison. I have the Brio, and it’s been great. The software from Logitech has been a bit buggy if I keep my Mac OS up to date. It seems like Logitech is always 2-3 versions of the Mac OS behind.

You didn't dial in ANY of the settings for the face cam. That's why it looked terrible. You need to redo this comparison with dialed in settings.
I own a Brio and have major regret. It is always soft focus. I've updated, adjusted, etc, etc for hours without improving the image. You can see for yourself by recent interview videos on my channel. I regret this purchase and even more, regret that I used it for over 30 videos.
2 millon subs and he compares 2 4k cameras on a 1080p video...some people are lucky...
I'm currently streaming with an Elgato Facecam on my channel. I'm looking forward to getting the Facecam pro that was just announced. I also use in the same time a Logitech C920 as an overhead camera.
.. why not do it in 4k? thats the selling point of the Logi??

I bought the BRIO from your review and recommendations from the comment section/chat replay...got it for 200$... For a 4K camera I don't find it amazing at all... Mine's all grainy on natural light though I haven't tried a Studio Setup like yours before but I assume that it's not supposed to be that grainy considering it boasts a 4K quality... mind me emailing you sample photo? Cuz I really can't return this despite being just bought it a while ago and/or I might be doing something wrong. I dunno if you edited your results or they are raw... but if yours are raw... mine's definitely a lot worse compared to yours.

What is the best camera for two people interview & one Camera
Watch for that awful plastic face plate on the Brio. Its very easily scratched or scuffed resulting in blurry patches to the image and over active auto focus. I've had to carefully remove this on two Brios to date. The actual lens is behind this. Why couldn't Logitech have used toughened glass rather than this crappy Coke bottle plastic?

I have a question for you. It's related to the software controlling my Logitech c920. For some reason, I can't change the settings for my webcam. I have the USB webcam sitting on top of my 24" Samsung monitor. My primary use is to create talking heaad video in my den.
For some reasons, I can't change the settings for the webcam. When I log into that software, I'm greeted with the default Desktop profile and there is a padlock on the profile. How do I fix this? Never seen this before and I'm using Windows 10 Prro.
Never mind, I found the answer in a different video. You actually did mentioned it, briefly and I missed it.

Thank you for this comparison, it was great! I would have a question also: I have now a Logitech C920 HD and it is quite good for streaming, but it is a known problem, that its settings always revert after PC restart, and even if everything is set in G Hub, when I open a Zoom, or OBS, mostly I have to just change for example the brightness and change it back, then the preview will be okay.
My question is, whether this bug also applies for the Brio too, so it is a common Logitech issue, or it is only for C920? If it is a common, then... I don't know... I will keep the C920, because I did not like the quality of the Elgato :)

I've had the Brio for about 2 years now, and while I love it, I've run into a small problem in regards to what I bought it for. I do art videos, and I thought this would be the perfect camera to have face down over the desk to record my art while I draw (since it has a nice wide view). However, the problem is the focusing. Every time I moved my hands under the camera to draw, it kept shifting the focus (and it makes noise when it does that). I tried fixing the focus on the art work, but my hands go out of focus. So I had to go back to using my iPhone to record myself drawing, and the Brio is focused on my face while I talk. So, I can still make it work, but just not as I had originally intended.
From either Capture or Tune, turn off autofocus.
The new Insta360 Link is what you'd want. I think it's finally a proper webcam using modern camera sensor and software technology. They have both a top down desktop perspective mode as well as a true top down view. And their autofocus shift is the most natural I've seen.
What camera did you use for the intro and the video? I mean your main cam?

So Im capturing the video from my Sony cam using Quicktime on an M1 but recently as I start recording, QuickTime has been freezing and ruining my flow. Any recommendation to capture my video other than Quicktime for Mac M1? I use a Sony A7III with camlink 4k. Thanks!

Honestly there is little point in comparing or judging webcams based on their "default" or automatic appearance (other than curiosity about it), because it is crazy to not learn and practice adjusting the image. The image will be different for every setup, every lighting and weather (if the room has windows) situation, different in each app you use with the webcam, and more. The best webcam is the one that has the most effective ways of fixing the image to your liking. I like the Elgato Facecam, but also the Razer (not Pro) Kiyo.
This. I am baffled and shaking my head at how many people compare shit straight out of the boxes with ABSOLUTELY different settings, completely ignoring facts, totally oblivious to what has information value and what certainly doesn't. Nobody seems to even think before making a review (some even FAR less than others) and the result are lots of videos filled with false information, contradicting each other and with no other effect than sending clueless customers on a trip of even heavier disorientation.
I don't agree..I'd guess 90%+ of people never change the webcam settings and use the defaults.
For max quality mirrorless is the way to go anyways for people who like to max out their picture quality - I would bet the small sensor webcam's are almost entirely default settings.

I would say neither of both: the best USB Cam (and on a budget!) for me is the ThiEYE T5 Edge native 4k Actioncam. It comes with a native Webcam-Mode via USB. And the Picture Quality is incredible.
