This was so helpful☺For the uni series could you do how to start revsing for the UKCAT and applying strategically as well as what uni to apply to . Thank you
@@AyatWonderland yeah in universities like kings, imperial college London, Oxford, they don’t really care much about your gcse grades only for maths and English at grade 6. But the universities do need a higher grade at alevel A*AA unless you’re doing medicine with foundation year where the grade requirements are like AAB. I did combined science at gcse and got 6s in my gcses and I’m currently doing biology, chemistry and maths at alevel. The only downside of combined science is that people that did separate science are mainly more prepared for alevel than the combined science people as we didn’t really get taught much content. So it really depends on the universities entry requirements. I hope this helps!
All universities have their own entry requirements. Most don’t require more then 6s at GCSE but some like Birmingham/Oxbridge want 8s at science Edit: However, if you have achieved A level grades (after year 13) they typically don’t care about GCSE grades as long as you have 5s or so. Because then you have proved yourself academically to actually achieve your grades
Definitely look into volunteering in a hospital and try get as much work experience in a dental practice as you can. Also, if you don’t already have hobbies which show manual dexterity then definitely dabble in a few
