Can I just say this is by far the most compelling and informative personal statement video I've watched! Also applying for KCL. I was a bit scared at first. The last time I had to write one of these, I had the help of my tutors, as I was applying directly from my college. 2022 will be the year I should write my personal statement.
Writing Personal Statement
1. Use a story structure to help your personal statement interlink & come to a conclusion at the end
2. Show them you are fitted to this degree
3. Use fancy words
4. Make it clear that you only want this degree
5. Mention some key skills relevant to your degree
6. Link experiences back to your degree
7. Read some books to show that you really want to study this
8. State if you have studied this degree before
9. Link book topics
10. If you apply for 2 degrees talk about both
11. Do some online courses related to this degree again showing you spend a lot of time studying and learning more
12. Link back what you’ve learnt and how it’s impacted you to become a better at your degree and how it’s given you more insight/drive to learn even more
13. Add your own opinions on what you’ve read
14. Show them how and why you’re passionate about the subject, without using the word passionate
15. Share an academic opportunity if you’ve had one (use star method)
16. Leadership and time management are very important skills you need
17. Start a club related to your degree, or join one and ask to be an organizer
18. Growth mindset
19. Sprinkle in any key terms that are relevant
20. Finish with a powerful last sentence

It doesn’t need a heading, since you copy and paste your statement into the box for it in the ucas form

Hello, may I know if the personal statement has to be about a single subject , course or relevant ones, or can we talk about two or more different courses we are interested in in one personal statement?
UCAS counts in the blanks lines...
So how did u manage to separate the paragraphs? Did u write in the next line or leave a blank line?
Moreover would writing in the next line look appropriate?

Hi, would you say Oxford needs a statement that accounts for the management side of the course , because for me my statement is Econ and Econ of financial markets heavy because those are my passions, will just ticking the Econ boxes be enough considering Oxford does care about the score on the TSA more
It's really hard as a mature student because you don't really have anyone to look it over
If you don't mind me asking, what made you pick Kings over the rest?
My sister had been at kings and London is a great place for business opportunities (you can easily go to insight days and network with current employees). It is more expensive but there’s so much more to offer with theatre shows and the great connections to home and friends at other unis ✨💕

The student satisfaction for kcl was quite a bit higher and I applied for just management at LSE which I had never done before so wanted to do the joint honours more! 🥰
