- Canon's latest firmware for the C300 Mark II, version 1.1.0.1.00, adds support for additional EF and EF-S lenses. Even more importantly, it also adds support for the LM-V1 Monitor that was originally introduced with the EOS C200 (note: additional cables are sold separately).
In this video, Jem Schofield discusses the details of the entire firmware update with particular focus on using the LM-V1 monitor (and the MA-400 audio unit), with the C300MK II.

Apparently it won’t work with the newer Canon LM-V2 that comes on the C500 MK II, which looks exactly the same as the LM-V1. I tried it and it won’t work. The LM-V2 works fine on the C500 MKII, so it must be something in the difference of the 2 monitors.

When are they going to release firmware to shoot 4k 60?
Canon has not discussed adding 4k 60p recording through firmware. At this time we are not aware of any plans to add this feature to this camera, or if the camera hardware can support it.

Sorry for the delayed reply - The C300 Mk II does not have native wifi support, but it is compatible with Canon's WFT-E6A Browser Remote adapter. That adapter would give limited control of the camera via wifi similar to the control afforded to Canon's high end DSLRs.
@@AbelCine_official Gonna buy the Canon 80D and Canon C200 Mark 2 and then wait till the Canon C300 Mark iii goes down in price or wait for the Canon C300 Mark 4

Have anybody heard that Canon is going to add the new raw light codec (as C200) to Canon C300 markll? I'd wish that as an owner. It makes sense. It could be a huge gift for us :-) Canon please!!!
Nice upgrade but what about other upgrades like 4K 60fps slow motion, and no crop 120fps 1080p and autofocus in slow motion
Not sure about those. The camera has been on the market for quite some time at this point so I wouldn't count on those features being added. I might be wrong though and also wouldn't mind if they were added.
