    Convection setting is much more heat stable. If it’s just on the bake setting you’re more app to have the oven reheating the elements more often and more likely to burn your clay from heats spikes

    Thank you for sharing! I love the earrings that you created for this video. I have couple of questions, 1. how/where do you get your clay? Like on the product's website? Or is there a bulk website because clay is basically sold out everywhere. 2. how do you get your cay not to stick to your tile or whatever surface you are using it on? I rally appreciate your tips!

      Hi there! There's a few craft stores that I get them from here in Australia. There's definitely a huge shortage at the moment and it helps to have a look on Etsy or any other craft stores in your area.
      If you're working on a slab, I lift the whole piece off before cutting it and it helps with it not sticking onto the tile. You can also use cornflour to help with the sticking!

    Hi, I bought a clay without a brand and it gets easily reshape. I tried to leach it, but it still mushy and sticky on my board. When I lift the shaped clay, it gets reshape.

    Hi ,so I'm teaching myself how to make polymer clay and I was wondering if you use the liquid clay or acrylic paint while you're making your earrings

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, I do use liquid clay especially if I need to attach pieces together after baking.

    Very Good Video! Thank you! Question, do you put any of the glaze on them before you bake? Also I noticed that when some people cut their pieces up and roll together they add a liquid to them, do you know what this is and why they add it?

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  2 года назад

      I don't glaze them before baking but you can choose to glaze them if you want a glossy look. I like leaving them matte. They usually add liquid polymer clay to combine all the pieces together.

    How can you lift the clay with tricky shape without changing its shape (after get it cut), i find it hard to keep the shape as it is 🥲

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  2 года назад

      If you find that it sticks, you can work on top of baking paper and when you cut it, it shouldn't stick. Another cool trick is using cornflour on the shape cutters!

    How to make soft polymer clay its too hard ?

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  3 месяца назад

      You can actually buy clay softener & thinner if your clay is crumbling too much and too hard to work with.

    Hi! Does anyone know what I can do to prevent/remove lint on my projects?

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  Год назад +1

      Best thing to do is make sure you have a clean surface to work on. I work on a ceramic tile and find that it really helps. Another really helpful thing is to use your tools to transfer any little pieces so you’re limiting fingerprints on your slab.

    And is it good to use for the base??.

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  2 года назад

      Hi there! I would recommend using Premo or Souffle for the bases to they don’t break. I bake them for an hour at 130 Celcius.

    Do I need to buy a felt buffer ?

    • @TheAtelieristaOfLove
      @TheAtelieristaOfLove  2 года назад

      You can actually buy tons of different attachments that can go onto the Dremel. I have felt buffers in different sizes that I use when sanding up the edges of my pieces.

  • @rosedolch8637
    @rosedolch8637 2 года назад

    It is dangerous to inhale any tiny dust from the polymer.. Please don't sand polymer dry! Submerge the baked polymer in water when you sand. You can buff it dry but sand in a container/bowl of water. You're an amazing artist but don't make yourself sick with the chemicals
