Thanks for the straight forward, informative video, there were so many silly ones I was glad to get the facts here.

This Zs has a hybrid version with a different dashboard and fascia look called mg vs it looks like this is not yet available in the aussie

Good review, sounds like honest car. Considering how tall cars have gotten, shouldn’t be encouraging driving to quickly round bends, that why so many end up on their roofs these days.

Wow really 7.5 secs 0-100? For a car weighing 1620kgs and only putting out 154hp with 280nm almost seems impossible? Doesn't seem to equate.

Yep, I was surprised as well. I did 5 runs with the Vbox and all results were similar.

It seems fine to me. Don’t forget the biggest factor. EV’s produce their full torque from take off, no need to wind up like a combustion engine.

@@brianbellomo9389 Good point. I guess the official claim is 8.5s, which is what makes it surprising.

Electric motor, torque available from pretty much zero rpm. It equates to around a 2.5L or 2.8L NA petrol motor for torque but the torque of such an engine isn't until 3000 rpm or higher.

Well riddle me this one, the Honda ZRV hybrid weighing 80kgs less but has 30 more hp and 35 more nm is slower than this car to 100km/hr? Maybe there's something wrong with your vbox? lol

440km is pretty good for this class. How many kms do you do per day?

@@drivingenthusiastaustralia 350km, but following your video from last week I'm a bit worried about the battery cost

@@iggynor5007 If you keep it within the warranty period it could work out well for courier work. The boot isn't that big though, if you're hauling large items etc.

Agree. But for current EV prices, it is one of the cheaper models. That doesn't make it fair but if you really want an EV etc...

DONT BE DELUSIONAL.EVS will be great practice within reason in (150=200 years) half the practicality and performance and range of a REAL car.

Real cars are causing too much damage to the environment you're delusional to not consider cleaner transport.
