There is so much appreciation due for the long days you must put in to gather such valuable footage. Not quite sure how you organize it all, but the final results are fantastic. What a striking example of the mountainous desert terrain of Texas, and a great peek into Mexico too!
I hope you get the opportunity to explore the lesser known deserts of Idaho, Oregon and Washington at some point, they are really something. Also, love your 4x4, but I agree, it would be wonderful to see another perspective of your adventures from an awd class C. Fingers crossed for that idea!🤞

Thank you, Robert. Very nice presentation of Big Bend National Park from these last 3 posts. It's my "home park" so to speak, having first come here in the very early 70's. Only picked up on your channel 4-5 months ago when I started researching Alaska. I've really enjoyed going back through your content. You make me laugh quite often with your sly humor. Looking forward to more adventures with you. And in Texas, we call it the Rio GRAND.

another wonderful video. I have to agree with you with regards to those darn 12v fridges. We had one in our previous trailer, and we are so pleased to be back to a propane/electric fridge in our current trailer. Yes it is a little smaller, but we can stay off grid for days with this thing running on propane and save our battery energy for lights, and charging of our electronic devices, and running the furnace fan on chilly evenings, and know that with a 100 watt solar panel we can be just fine for a long time. Add a 12v fridge in the equation and we are doomed overnight. As always, safe travels....

There is a section of the campground that allows generators. That's where we stayed, but even then it was hard to keep our batteries going for five nights. Those12v refrigerators are indeed power hogs. Especially when you load it up the first day with food needing be be brought down to temp. That makes them run extra hard. Was pulling 12 amps at one point. I felt like Doc Brown calculating his "1.21 Gigawats" every day to see how long we needed to run the generator to get back up to full. Kind of spoils the fun stressing. Luckily, I installed 250w solar before and got a spare battery just in case. Now running 2 100ah in parallel. Still not what you have there.

If you are in Mexico , it is Rio Bravo, here in the USA, where freedom of speech still rules, you can pronounce it whichever way you wish. The correct name given is Rio Grande, Spanish for big river. Many original names for cities, towns, mountains, etc, unfortunately some have tried to switch, especially around the Austin area. Being born and raised in Texas, I choose to honor the correct pronunciations no matter what language. Robert, just pronounce them the way you see them. It’s all good. Your videos are great!

I’d get 2 dozen tamales and freeze what I don’t eat for lunch. I did that in Raleigh, NC in my apartment complex. The Mexican guys would go replace roofs and their wives would make tamales and enchiladas. They would sell them out of the trunk of the vans or cars. I would buy a bunch of each (cheap) $1.00 each, and freeze them, take them for lunch.

Uggh. I hate 60fps. Has its downsides for lower spec PCs watching at 4k.
Most professional film makers on youtube use 30 or 24fps for realistic cinematic video and slight "motion" effect as opposed to unrealistic "smoothness"
