    You are truly creating something special and so unique that I needed after such a long and crazy day at work. I am very grateful because I got taken on a journey and emerged myself in such a present moment. I really believe I am not alone here who feels the same way, and I thank you again for it. Keep creating, :) wishing you all the best.

      What an incredibly nice thing to say! Sorry you had a rough day at work. We all have those days, sometimes it’s good for an escape like to a place like this.

    A few years ago I traveled from Minnesota and met another old friend from Texas to go to the Big Bend to attend the funeral of a dear childhood friend. After the ceremony we spent a full week of hiking and riding down the river. It was a an inspiring trip and could understand why our friend has settled in this local. We met many of his friends and enjoyed their company and their helpful advice of where to hike and borrowing a rubber raft to ride the river. A fond set of memories

    My husband and I went to Big Bend August 2024 and we did the lost mine trail, santa Elena canyon, and made stops where the burro ears formation are, and a fossil discovery exhibit with information of the dinosaurs that roamed there and information of the Chisos formation which used to be an active volcano! So fun, plus the beautiful stargazing!

    Such a peaceful feeling (except for the mud!). We are headed there in March for the first time in our 70 years of living but we're in shape! Thank you both for a trip before the trip!

    My first trip to Big Bend was on Sep 9, 2023. Went straight to Santa Elena Canyon and then to Chisos Basin on the way out. I would have to say its like stepping back in time for me. Such a great experience even though i didnt hike any trail except for Santa Elana Canyon trail which was only a mile or so round trip, but still rewarding. I plan on returning soon

    I’ve toured the park 4 times between 2001-2016. In 2007 I was there when a snowstorm hit. It was wild! A truly fabulous experience. I hope to go again in the future. I just love this place. Epic Texas!

    Great video! One huge thing I'd bring up is that you can see the inner arms of our Milky Way galaxy at night here, because Big Bend is one of the top 3 best places to view the stars.
    I came here just for the stars about a year ago, and had a great viewing spot with about 30 fellow star photographers at the St Elena trail

    I love the short history on each of your video. Really well presented and educational to say the least.
    I noticed, you’re wearing a shirt with a big R on it. I’m from NJ, and R is the logo of my school Rutgers University.

    What an amazing video you have put together! Being content creators ourselves, we know the amount of work that must have gone into this and it shows. Really nice job both educating us and showing us your perspective of this national park in such a visually appealing way! We’ve subscribed and can’t wait to watch more!

    Looking forward to returning soon with my son in April.

    Well, I messed up syncing the comment with the super thank. Bros. You have it. I subbed within 10 minutes. Fantastic cinematography, flawless edit, relevant engaging narration, geographical reverence, well researched. This reeks with creativity and high end equipment savvy. You guys should be with Nat Geo. Cheers from Texas! I look forward to more.

    about 50 feet higher than the roof if the sears tower. With the spires, the sears is 200 feet taller than the canyon walls

      @AlexynPhotoVideo There is a trail that either goes there or comes really close. It's been around 20 years since I tried it. I had my 10 year old son & wife with me. Partially the reason I didn't continue. When you get into striking distance, there are thousands of rocks you must scramble over for quite some time. It reminded me of how the county uses large rocks near bridges to slow erosion. But on a much much larger scale.

    Did you all have permission from NPS to take those drone shots? Flying drones is a felony in a national park.

    • @AlexynPhotoVideo
      @AlexynPhotoVideo  17 дней назад

      Good question! All flown outside the park, can’t fly it inside the park your right. Landscape is close enough outside that I used the footage for the doc even though it’s technically not in big bend.
