- How to connect Kawasaki Rideology app to an iPhone and Android phone to 2020 Kawasaki z900 and review of the app. The app has bad ratings on iOS and Android, functions of the app doesn’t work as it should.

How did you get call and email notify.it is greyed out on my z900 uk
Yes, too bad that there is no navigation integration. Now Kawasaki has a nice display but they don't use the full potential :( Where and how did you install the usb outlet on the right side of the screen?

What is the name and model of mobile support? For navigation
basically the bluetooth on the z900 is pointless..and the full screen for maps is unused, if they can do it on the bigger bikes, why not on the newest z900 2022 models? makes no sense.
Had the bike for 2 years, never connected via Bluetooth .

Hi Michael, there are no options at all to use navigation on the TFT Display, at least not for Z900s , thank you

the navigation buttons on a KTM is way better to use..

The mount on the video was quad lock moto mount for handlebar. The downside is it requires a case from quad lock or an adapter to mount on the back of your existing case which doesn’t look good. Currently I switched to ram mount which is working out pretty good so check out both of them before you decide! Good luck cheers 🥂

Fella, how did you fit the quad lock to your bars? The bars are too thin for my quad lock mount
It took some effort, wasn’t easy to get it in there but keep trying lol 😂 it’s been a year now I forgot how I did it.

First gen was 2003-2006 and second gen was 2007-2012.gen two is still bad ass looking still today. But heavy, poor front MC and i think lack 20HP😁😁😁😁. Stay safe brother

With my Samsung S8 and latest Rideology app, Call and E-Mail notifications are not working. Is it the same on your Android phone? I ride Z900 2020 EU model. Thanks

Mate, I gave up after making the video, never try to fiddle with it again lol. I moved to BMW s1000r and the connectivity works like a charm lol

I'd like to see more functionality in the future. You should be able to change rider modes from the phone at least.
That’s what I thought too, I tried with both of my phone to change rider mode but it didn’t work . The app has bad rating like 2.7 , I think Kawasaki needs to fix the bugs . Thank you for the feedback!

Option not available on z900s , wish it was. It’s available for high end models like ZH2 , Ninja H2 etc.

After that video I never try reconnecting the phone to the bike and now I don’t have my z900 anymore:( wish I could give you more information sorry 😞 Phone connectivity is useless on Kawasaki or any bike except Honda gold wing lol . Just enjoy the bike lol I have s1000r and has phone connectivity with gps navigation but I hardly use it because I’m enjoying the bike!
@@SoloMCRider that's cool the Honda African twin has Android auto from what I heard when I was at the bike shop buying my bike they were trying to get me to get that but it's more of a off-road bike and I'm doing a whole lot of street riding. Hope you enjoy your bike as well and be safe out there
Have you had any success with the ride logging in the app? It seems hit or miss for me. It somewhat logs the trip, at zero minute, and zero miles, but shows the route on the map. It shows the graph, with the different data points/lines, but i have no idea what the lines mean; there's no legend. No lean angle, so I don't know if that's part of a phone app permission. Keep the videos coming, they're good for us new 2020 owners. I'm just over 100 miles on the odometer.
The app is a hit or miss, not very responsive, it’s a 1st gen product, with the future updates hopefully will get better! Some of the options not available for z900, only for more premium bike like H2 , ninja 1000 etc. thank you for your feedback:) this is my first z900 too, we will all learn the bike together! 😀

Basically it’s just a tracking device and data mines your where abouts ..🤷🏼♂️ no thx really underwhelming , but the tft display is one of the nicest screen I’ve seen

I just want them to put turn by turn or some sort of Apple CarPlay or android auto. That’s such a disappointment. Great display but useless app.

Doesn’t work z900 2021, it is Rubbish; I am feeling So bad. Z900 is my first Kawasaki; I don’t feel happy. I will be with this motorcycle one year, and then I will sell it and will buy a different brand. Kawasaki never more
I know it’s sucks that it doesn’t work as intended, phone doesn’t always connect if it does nothing much useful lol. So I just completely ignore the feature and enjoy rest of the bike ! Cheers 🍻

@@ursroeder7781 No, I didn’t buy it only for this reason. But usually, I analyse everything; if any company is offering something, I want to see this thing working or give me some answer why it is not working. But they ignore you and keep showing fake information.
Bad behaviour, that is why I do understand Kawasaki is not reliable.
App seems kinda worthless
