Uniqlo has one. And yes, Im 4'11 so I'm drowning in fabric! But if I get it altered I bet it will look better! I think it's called wide leg something. It looks exactly like that one she's wearing.
Yes! I've been wearing wide leg plants since I was in my early twenties. Can't live without them. I have them in linen, all different colors and patterns , light jean material, and silk. They're definitely a staple in my closet.
Can you please recommend where to get a good pair of silk trousers? I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair. Would love straight leg as I’m not a huge fan of wide leg, but I’ll take any recommendations. 🫶🙏🏼
😊It is tough for a one person content creator to respond to a lot of online inquiries〰️esp. if they're super popular, juggling a 2nd gig, balancing other interests like a family, &/or ✍️writing is simply not their gifting. 🛑 I understand it can be super frustrating if this experience feels like a one-way street😖. At least if the channel loves❤️ a comment at a minimum, you get a sense that someone is actually out there on the other end listening👂to what you have to contribute to this conversation. In the end, social media is supposed to be about a bridge bringing diverse ppl together, building a community, etc. 😉It does feel more satisfying when there's a sense of two-way interaction. Thank you so much for these tips! I purchased wide-legged trousers after watching this and paired them with a cream shell and black/white checkered heels for work - I received many compliments and I felt super confident!
yes, they are, even for heels. Adjust with a taylor, to work for flats and heels. Look sloppy, like this.. imagine dragging them through the dirt on the street or a public place ...
🤗 💯% understand your dilemma. From 5-95yr, peer pressure is a very real phenomenon🤣. Wanting to fit in with your community is natural & extremely important, but there are limits. You have permission to draw outside the lines. No doubt. It can be a big drama if you try to step outside of any narrowly defined box📦 〰️esp. if you live in a smaller town that's decidedly more casual & less fashionable😂. It can be a b*tch to break out of even our own tightly defined UNSPOKEN social contracts, esp. if you've always easily fell in line with the status quo. You might feel try too hard at first. That will wear off in time as it starts to feel more natural. Other people won't like it when you upset the 🍎applecart by going a different way. Most will happily let you know you stepped out of line or give you the side👀 eye when you veer off the preferred "path" too. You simply smile & move on. If they ask you directly why you're dressed up, answer them cheekily. Say: Because it's Thursday. Or, answer no special occasion...just felt like it. Maybe you were inspired by the full moon🌝 or the beauty of a sunny🌞 afternoon. It's perfectly fine to be in the mood to jazz things up whenever the moment strikes. Honestly, life's too short to settle. When you persevere in your style pursuits, it will take you out of your comfort zone. Please don't let that stop you. You are worth it. It takes discipline to change our daily habits. Eventually it will change your character. They'll eventually back off. You'll gain respect as you learn to stick to your guns too. 😉Don't be surprised if such a decision had a positive ripple effect. You might just encourage others who wanted to dress differently too, but who didn't have the nerve to step out on that ledge alone. Thankfully, I live in LA😎. Big city living builds your confidence to withstand criticism. Thankfully, there's acceptance & space to find & follow your fashion passion here. Besides, unless you work or socialize within certain strict dress codes, no one really cares what people wear here. You do feel freer to break some rules & experiment with style. Of course, it can still seem like a cosy small town here based on your unique lifestyle, place of work, & size of social circle. I could easily see myself stay lazy after WFH, lounging, & heavily enforced isolation of all those lockdowns. Dressing down definitely brings it's own comfort & conformity, but it can be disastrous on your self-esteem😳. Sometimes you'll simply have to 💪power through the discomfort. Like when you first go to the gym🏋️♀️ take small steps until you build up your style muscle, your strength (tolerance), & your skills. 🫂Try to cultivate like minded people who also want to get out of their own style rut. I like wide leg trousers but I don't wear heels. How do you deal with the edges getting caught under the foot/touching the ground? Should I just shorten them so the edge just barely touches the ground?
I hope this gets answered. Wide leg trousers suits my inverted triangle petite body shape, but your comment is the main concern I have with them! I only buy and keep ones that fit me to a T which isn’t easy to find.
I guess get them tailored so that they hit just right to your ankle and not dragging on the floor? Regardless it would still be a little bit annoying in rainy days, it does elongate your legs but yea can be quite inconvience in certain weathers, nothing is perfect.
Where did you get your brown belt? I love your style so much and I’m good on my “staples” but I always need help with accessories… and you are a master accessorizer! 🥇
I do agree with you about using shoulder pads. I'd be very grateful if you could do a video about this. Also, the style- wide leg black trousers-- ate seasonless, but, don't you have at least 2/3 pairs? Linen, wool, a cotton clend?
I liked all the matchings and styles but one thing bothered me is do you really wear the trousers that touch the floor? Wouldn't it damage the trousers?
I’m dying to learn how does one wear the same pair of wide leg pants with both flats and heels with the length looking good in both looks. I love the versatility and the way they look, but in reality, if you don’t want your pants to be dragging around while wearing flats, you need 2 pairs of different lengths.
I have a question your videos have inspired me I am 48 years old and I've decided to change my dress code I'm going for Plaza trousers exactly what you're wearing but I'm not sure do you tuck the shirt in your tops in the trousers I will be grateful for the support your videos are amazing thank you❤
I always wanted to try a pair so I finally got one, it’s not something I would wear normally but I love the fit and it definitely goes with so many tops in my closet. It’s really long even though am 5 7” but a little midi heels lifted me up so not dragging on the ground 😆
The most difficult part is to find trousers like these 😅
Exactly! They’re all too short.
Filippa K.
They are all the rage now. Bought me some from Bershka. I am loving the fact that my legs can breathe after 20 years of skinny jeans lol😅
I just bought trousers like these from Hugo Boss
Uniqlo has one. And yes, Im 4'11 so I'm drowning in fabric! But if I get it altered I bet it will look better! I think it's called wide leg something. It looks exactly like that one she's wearing.
The length is the issue for people with shorter legs tho 😅 for functionality who'd want to drag their trousers around.
I love all the outfits in this video! As others before have asked - please include descriptions and links!! Love you!
My thought too! With so many followers , where are the sponsors ?
They’re in her shopstyle
Where do I find her shopstyle? Thanks

Hi! Can you share the brands of trousers you love and why?
I have my wide legged pants tailored so they don't drag on the ground for both heels and flats. Invest in a good tailor!
😊
This! I can't stand pants/skirts that drag whatever dirt and grimes every second I move😂.
Yeah I was wondering about that. Looks like she’s stepping on them at bottom. I can imagine how gross that would be walking around outside.
The brown belt is fantastic!
You look fabulous in each of these outfit. I love your "shorts". Very instructive and basic yet gorgeous. Great job. Thanks.
I don’t know why some people who post these things don’t take the time to answer any questions from their followers.
Check the three little dotts and then description for details
Because they have over a half 1 million followers, and if they answer some and not others someone will feel slighted, that’s why 🙄

Exactly!!!! Like at least say where you bought the pants!
Totally agree. Oftentimes many of the subscribers have the same question. Why not do a video addressing the questions?
Thank you so much for these tips! I purchased wide-legged trousers after watching this and paired them with a cream shell and black/white checkered heels for work - I received many compliments and I felt super confident!
I love your videos. Classic, timeless pieces that can makes hundreds of different outfits without the logos, bedazzling and crazy colors.
liked before I even watched. Been a staple for me FOR YEARS" the higher the waist the better.
Just purchased the most perfect black trousers today and I’m stoked!!
From where
Lydia can you link some of your favorite trousers ?
Her accent is so soothing
for all lazy like me 😂 high waisted trousers - Filippa K
(Darcey)
How long would the pants last if you are dragging the hem on ground, gravel, pavement? Aren't they a tad long?
That's exactly what I was thinking. How do you keep them clean and prevent them from fraying????
yes, they are, even for heels. Adjust with a taylor, to work for flats and heels. Look sloppy, like this.. imagine dragging them through the dirt on the street or a public place ...
Yesss 👍 although I would prefer such trousers of another basic colour - like brown or dark-blue, camel, olive
Your pants are dragging the ground.
Im so happy when I see a video of you..
My favourite purchases this year, wide legged black and grey trousers - so cool!
You are such an inspiration for my outfits. Thank you.
It’s just finding the right pair that’s hard!
I have at least three of those
They’re life savers
Love it!!! Thank you for sharing! Sending you, Lyndia and everyone here love and light.❤️❤️🙏🙏☮️☮️
Excited that mine arrvied last night and i have all of the items to create everyone of these looks!
Thank you very much 🌷 can you please how to style it for different body types thank you 💞
@Lydia, would you please let us know, which one are you wearing? Thank you ♥️
Filippa K Darcey wool trousers
All looks look perfect .
I looove those pants but you know I can't wear them without heels
I can't go outside with them cleaning the floor 😅
Perfect length in your evening look.
Absolutely and invest in a pair of black linen wide leg trousers and they’ll last for years ❤️✨
You are my fashion savior 😭😭😭
On you it looks effortless, on me,it looks like I'm.trying too, hard or I get "why are you so dressed up"

Can list these trousers please …. Or a dupe ? Xxx
I got mine at Mango, they are really good and well tailored, also, Other Stories or COS have really good ones.

Mens trousers 😊 especially a classic cut.
But I think you would trip over the length of these...no?
I loved the outfits. And the bags the way I like. Thanks. Hugs from Brazil

HEM them.

Love this short!!! Yes😍😍😍
Fashion conscious women from the 70's have worn them well for 40 years. Skinny pants were nicknamed drainpipes:)
I’m going to recreate all of these! Amazing looks. Thank you. Does this just come naturally for you or did you study for your fashion sense?
Anyone know any great online shops for petite trousers? Not too expensive… 🌷
perfect to mop the floor too.
Excellent ideas just excellent, though I would buy them just a little shorter so they are not pass my shoes.
Me too, i can't live without mine.
Love the pants

I've seen trinny show shoulder pads alot, maybe worth checking her videos

I'd love to see a few links for these if possible. Thank you
I liked all the matchings and styles but one thing bothered me is do you really wear the trousers that touch the floor? Wouldn't it damage the trousers?
How do you style the same pair of wide leg pants (with the same inseam) for flats and heels?
Maybe some fashion tape would work. Double sided fabric tape to make them shorter by folding them inward
Where are your wide leg Trousers from🙊?
Where is the white t shirt from? Cant find the exact white shirt on your link. Thank you 😊
Agreed, I have wide leg linen
I LOVE mine 🥰

Can you wear trousers like these when being only 5’3
I agree! One question how long should they be? These look like I could trip and fall. Also, won’t they get ruined at the hem?!

great!!
Stores in my area don't carry wide legs, they are still stuck in skinny leg pants. 😢
The hem pants that drag the floor will not look like a good idea in the future...too sloppy.
I want it but in white so bad!!!
1st four were nice, but the last one was all loose and not so flattering. The tank top looked really cool with this.
Can you talk about how to add shoulder pads to a top??
How tall are you please? Your videos are amazing!
What is a truly versatile pant length? So I can wear flats or heels or do a pin up when wearing flats ?
All suit you so well. I have a question about the lenght what is the correct lenght for a wide leg pants? Thanks
