Thank you Joel for your continued support of the Maids and all the bands you help get the word out on. Great reaction to our Maids! MISA! MISA! MISA! One of the best bassist in the world right now. I could be a little biased, but that's besides the point. The best part of Band-Maid is they are loaded with world class talent, but everyone shines. No egos in this band and that's just one of the reasons we love this band. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
Japanese Interviewer: Since all five girls are cute, each of them has a different character. Those who want to see idols perform can also enjoy (each character individually). MIKU: NO! Not just for one of them, all of them together! Japanese Interviewer: Kuruppo, you are a pretty good tactician. Clever! You thought of it. You really formed the band you wanted, right? Yeah I remember the old days when she would be shy on stage, people would be chanting her name and trying to get her to do stuff with them. The time she gave a dude a shot of her whiskey was when she started coming out.
If you give Misa (bass) her own tour bus, the rest of the band will be joining her anyway (especially the drummer and lead vocalist). They aren't just great musicians. They also enjoy each other's company. The lead guitarist may want her own bus (with a studio setting) just so that she can work on a new song in peace and quiet. She is a bit of a workaholic.

Apropos the Lolita clothes on Miku. As we fans know that is how the entire band was dressed in the beginning, and it was the founder Miku's idea to dress as maids in Japanese maid cafes. And where the band name comes from. One by one the members in the band has diverged from that idea, more or less. Last one that skip her maid dress was Kanami, the lead guitarist. That Miku wears her dress to stick out was a fun fantasy by Spencer. But actually, the BAND-MAID members are so unassuming and I do not think they have any wish to stick out or compete. They are totally best friends and love to play together.
BTW - just for the record. I liked his reactions both for Lovebites and BAND-MAID. A fresh and different perspective. One thing though, BAND-MAID he just enjoyed, not so much talk about radio friendly.
@@lurkmerchant That's correct! I had expected him to say so though. But, maybe he found it too obvious. Or, so was he too mesmerized to remember what his main task was 😀
Great to see anyone from KROQ finally paying attention to Band-Maid. About 8-10 years late to the party, but... I was a KROQ diehard when it was the Rock of the 80's, with Ramondo & Evans, Jed the Fish, Freddie Snakeskin... For years, it was arguably the cutting edge new wave radio station in America... In the 1990s, KROQ intro'd Incubus to everyone. This year, Band-Maid opened for Incubus, and Mike Einzinger collab'ed on a song.
I am Japanese. I have been going to Band-Maid concerts for the past 8 years. I also thought that all the members were stars and that no one stood out. However, when I actually went to a concert, Saiki has been outstanding for the past 2-3 years. It looks like a Saiki's dance and singing show with a great lineup of members. This is just what I think though.
Spencer, Zemaitis Guitar Company and Miku Kobato teamed up and created a signature model A24MF-FP called the “Flappy Pigeon” and I don’t think it was because she was dressed in a baby doll outfit looking cute on stage. Miku Kobato envisioned and created Band-Maid!
Don't discount Miku Kobato. She is ONLY the founding member of the band and asked each to join. Every member of Band-Maid is valuable and that is why the group is awesome. Love the performance, and I only agree with Spencer on how awesome a bassist Miko is, I must respectfully disagree with most of what he said.
@@sugaanessena3143 BAND-MAID and Lovebites fan here and Nemophila. They are all VERY different though. BAND-MAID are some very good musicians jamming very good songs. Lovebites are some extremely good musicians writing fantastic songs that are performed with precision. It is jamming vs precision. Then we have Nemophila, more jamming. They are always fun to see and good to hear. And you get heavier and screaming as a bonus. All three bands have fantastic drummers. All three bands have very good or fantastic bass. All three bands have one or two shredding guitarists. All three bands have good singers. Different singers, but all good. Mayo from Nemophila stands out a bit for me. Then, of course, BAND-MAID has an 810 years old pigeon.
@@chrisegbertky Fair enough. I am an old dude. And I have had a strange discussion to another reaction. Because I have observed that Lovebites has a very homogeneous audience on concerts. The audience consists almost entirely of old dudes. At least the audiences I have seen from 2023 and 2024. My observation of this triggered by a fan video of a pre concert performance in a smaller group. All dudes and almost no one below 50. So, it seems like that high precision power metal might be a thing for older dudes that listened to this kind of music before. Or maybe they/we like pretty girls in dresses 😆 Now, usually, it is females that are interested in dresses. But ...
Well as I am 66 not sure it is about age. I was never into metal as much as prog rock. I am in a bit of a BandMaid rut and loving it. Unfortunately I have only so much attention to give and that is taken up with 1) Yoyoka Soma - drumming prodigy 2) BandMaid 3) classic prog rock from back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth plus LZ, DP, and pop from that era. 4) Asterism and Voice of Bacophet. Asterism for music and VOB for their message.

There is no "Star" in Band-Maid. Each quirky lovable member is a star on her own.

It's a rule I've often observed in bands: it's the shyest person offstage who gets the most attention onstage! Misa Misa Misa!

Ron Zombie would love bandmaid IMHO. They dont do covers much but id live to see bandmaid do "more human than you man"
I can't get sick of this song. It's too damn good.

Interesting you showed Lovebites just before this. The members of Lovebites were in attendance to this very performance.

Hi music fans, Joel had the great opportunity to play his guest the right BAND-MAID song this time instead of "Bestie"...& he did.😁👌
