I've just bought my first big bike - a 2018 SV650😊 I'd definitely like to see a vlog on the LED headlamp upgrade! This is one of the mods I have on my list but was quoted a shockingly high price from r&g!
Remember watching one of your videos a long time ago on your SV. I think there was an HD StreetRod 750 as well. I was interested in the Suzuki. Just bought a blue tank, bronze frame SV. Bought some Evotech goodies and will probably change out the exhaust. Excellent machine. My Z900 isn't thrilled about the new neighbor in the garage.
great bike, what brand was the headlight and is it plug and play?. I also had led indicators but had to struggle on the front to mount them in a solid way, how did you do it?.
Have you considered lowering your levers so they are in line with your arms? They almost sit horizontally - seems very awkward and perhaps unsafe 👍🏻 😀. Also, get a 170 rear tire to transform the cornering
That’s how’s I hold my bars covering the brake comfortably, not sure why it would be unsafe? 170 tyre doesn’t fit with the hugger, but see. A few people do it looks a good upgrade
Street rod update? I’m 6’4” looking to buy a street rod mostly cause I’m a sucker for the Harley name. Im Thinking I’ll likely end up with a forward controls kit, but want to know about the finding N and heat issues.
I sold the Street Rod last year. Unfortunately simple parts were becoming an issue to find (even just serviceable items) As a 6 footer I was ok, but wouldn’t recommend it for your height. The v&h fp3 was great for performance and did reduce heat but honestly mine was very well looked after and had corrosion in places you wouldn’t expect already. I’m glad I had it but wouldn’t have another, although did get over the hip cramps- there’s just better bikes available for the money.
