- Hey guys! Thank you so much for watching me! Today I have some houseplants made from aluminum foil, aluminum tape, and deli paper. I hope you guys enjoy my video!
I have a super simple version of houseplants on my 2nd channel (that I never post on) using tape and twist ties. So the link to that one is below if you'd like to watch it.
2nd channel houseplants video: • Easy REALISTIC DIY Dol...
The plant containers I use are shown in the video below.
Props: • DIY Winter Video Photo...
I used deli paper for the first time in my poinsettias video so it is similar to this one.
Poinsettias: • Paper and Polymer Clay...
I freaking LOVE how resourceful you always are. I started using coffee grounds in my plants because of this video! I started making miniatures when I was in college using anything I had on hand and you using the phone charger wires reminded me of a big reason I love this hobby so much 💖
OMG!! Those are the cutest little things! Nice job, they look amazing!
As a former Montessori student, this is So beautiful & relaxing to watch
I love these plants! I'm going to try and adapt a few to be for my witch's dollhouse.
Wow - wonderful plants!
Those are absolutely gorgeous. I love the fact that you’re using the foil so that they’re positionable. ❤️
I have seen lots of plant tutorials. This is the only one I am going to try.

BEAUTIFUL Work Kat! I am really impressed with the delicacy of your spider plant but I also love the way you constructed the broad leaf plant too as well. The metal really holds the texture and is truly a Marvelous technique and your painting is Spot On! ♥
I really love the detail you put into your work, it really makes the plants look real. I also appreciate what you've used to make these plants, it means we can all have a go at making them without having to buy loads of different materials! Thanks for the great video, I'm looking forward to making these myself :)

What a great tutorial. I'm not new to miniatures, coming from a scale automobile background, some of these techniques are new and amazing to me. Your explanations are top notch and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing. P.S. your nail polish is fabulous in this video - reminds me of my wife's. She also chooses amazing colors. I want to put you in my featured channel section, unless you have an objection.

Awesome tutorial, thank you! Super clear instructions and they look superb
There are so many cheap/lazy/poor attempts at miniatures on YT, but yours are very well designed & constructed, while still being easy enough for viewers to follow. Well done.
Joanne Carroll And then there's the ones that look amazing but impossible...SugarCharmShop comes to mind. (No offense to SCS, I still love her videos just to watch such perfect little minis being made, but I could never do anything like that.)
They are so cool and I shall be making some for my newly acquired dolls house, thanks a lot.
Brilliant
Very realistic and easy to make... Love this video!!!
Coolest things ever
Thank you.
Omg so clever..thanku so much xx

They look great. I love your thought process as you go along.
Absolutely beautiful
Wow, they look so real! I didn't 9:39 know that you could paint on aluminum foil. You did an amazing job on everything but that spider plant was really awesome!
Wow what a great video thank u so much 😃👏🏻👍🏻
Boy you have more patience than I do, love them.
Awesome job! Every plant you made looked just like the real thing! My favorite was the mother-n-law’s tongue.
I’m obsessed with your channel your work is AMAZING
Thank you! I've been absent for a bit but hoping to start filming again soon.
Excellent tutorial. I love your clips, as they're often innovative. Generally, you provide the practical knowledge or the inspiration one requires in order to create their own objects. Used coffee or teabag granules for soil is a great tip. It's a cheap alternative and looks as good as store bought soil for crafts.
Duncan Disorderly heh...I just sweep mine off the ground
AWESOME!!!
Wow. Very nice. I am going to try. Thks for sharing :-)
THANK YOU!
Amazing!

I like to use tea bags for the dirt. Mostly because dried tea doesn't smell like anything.
