Omg how adorable are these flowers?! I wish I could be 6 again and have these in my dollhouse. ^^ I'm obsessed with crafting teeny tiny things, I'm definitely going do make these orchids. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
That’s the best thing with mini making - returning to the childlike state of play 🤗 Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment & don’t forget to share pics of your orchids - I love to see everyone’s creations 🙌☺️
I am going to have to try making these orchids using your tutorial as a guide. The splattered tissue, the butterfly paper punch and the gold-leaf sizing covered wire were INVALUABLE tips- Thank You! ❤️
Not the ones in this tutorial (all collected from various places). I do have examples of my hand thrown miniature pots on Instagram - @Missy.Miniatures ☺️👍
Hello there im so glad i found your channel i have been having so much fun watching all these minature projects quick question having a really hard time trying to find gold leaf size glue would you please be so kind and let me know where we might find it please and thank you
Any good art or craft shop should stock gold leaf glue - it goes on milky and after 20 or so minutes of drying, it remains tacky. As I don't know which part of the world you are in, I can't recommend a store to buy from. Thanks for watching! 😊🙏🏻
I am going to your printables to print the leaves NOW and will be making these tomorrow! Thank you so much! What did you use to make the shiny leaves? Is it paper? Did you coat it with something?
Thanks for watching! 😃 The leaves were printed on glossy A4 sticker paper (I bought mine online but a good office supplies store should stock these). Do make sure you tag me in or share pics once you're done - would love to see!
Wow thank you for this! Quick question. It looks like you let the air dry clay (in the pot) dry? But then how do you get the wires to go into it? Or do you place them in first then let the clay dry? Thx!
Thank you for your beautiful flowers! I got in a bit of a muddle with the very thin tissue paper (a problem with tissue sticking to my fingers) so improvised by making the centres of the pink orchid flowers using markers. It's probably because I used ordinary tacky glue rather than the glue you have recommended. Nevertheless I'm pleased with the result. I used spackfilla in the pot because I didn't have any air drying clay. It's set nicely like a rock!
Spackfilla is a great alternative to fill your pot. If you post pics of your flowers on Instagram or FB, do please make sure you tag me as I'd love to see!
Just another type of polystyrene foam (used as a building material - bought from my local hardware store). Shaping is just as easily achieved using a clean styrofoam takeaway tray/container 👍
❤Bravaaaa

Amazing I love it. Can’t wait to try it. What is the foam block that you’re using to shape the pedals on?
@@jenniferscrivner8808 Polystyrene will work👍
Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful!...would love to try them one day!
Please do!
Lindo demais!! 😍😍
What is the difference in gold leaf glue and others
Gold leaf size dries sticky and maintains a tacky state whereas many other types of glue are no longer sticky once dry.
Thank you for this Tut ... I made it and it looks AMAZING !!!
My pleasure! Would love to see pics if you care to share (Instagram or FB).
Did you make the pots yourself?
Not the ones in this tutorial (all collected from various places). I do have examples of my hand thrown miniature pots on Instagram - @Missy.Miniatures ☺️👍

Omg I love this. I made sunflowers using the same technique but love your orchids more! And I have everything I need to make some. X
Fab! I look forward to seeing them so do tag Missy on IG or share pics via FB 🙌
Truly lovely…could you tell us what the little green elements are that you stick on at the end of the petals stalks please…are they lentils?
Polymer clay oval balls, just hand rolled into shape and baked. It isn’t very clear in the vid 😣 Look forward to seeing your orchids!
Que trabalho maravilhoso!!! Pode por favor me dizer qual é a cola que usa? Grata❤
Glue that remains sticky once dry - used for applying gold leaf 👍
Thank you for posting this tutorial. Gorgeous! May I ask what are the small green - seeds? that you use at the end for the orchid buds. Thank you!
In the video I used polymer clay but you could also use small beads 🙂 👍

My pleasure 😊 Place the wires while the clay is still wet and once it is dried, your stems are set in place👍
Thank you for your beautiful flowers! I would love to know how to make the tiny urns 🇬🇧
I didn’t make the one in the video but I do throw my own mini ceramics on a mini wheel, much like full size pottery 👍☺️
Beautiful but for me I hant the patience or steady hand.but brilliant 🇬🇧
Thanks for watching ☺️🙏 patience is definitely the key to mini making.
What is the block you're using at 3:20 to shape the petals?
Just another type of polystyrene foam (used as a building material - bought from my local hardware store). Shaping is just as easily achieved using a clean styrofoam takeaway tray/container 👍
What do you rub the paper on?
How do you make the leaves please
Just watch any of my other plant tutorials as the process is the same👍
where exactly can I find your printable leaves you said on the video
