So glad I found her!! Every tutorial I try to watch I have to fast forward through them talking about things that are irrelevant. “Sorry my desk is dirty , I haven’t had time to clean and then I hung out with my friends and blah blah blah” love that she gives exact measurements and detail. Straight to the point of the video
A tip I learned from Luke Towan, if you add alcohol to the dirt mix to wet it, then add a mix of glue and water, the alcohol helps evaporate the water leaving just the thin layer of glue. It's worked wonders for me when adhering beach sand to canvases and sculptures.
This is a great and simple tutorial to follow, I'm glad to see you posting more often again
I will definitely try this in my beach scenes...typically I use polycrylic to set the sand, a few coats, and it hardens beautifully!

I use coffee when I am making something and need a "dirt" look, they come out very nicely!

A tip that I use, when I do not have dirt it using mini rocks instead of dirt it also makes wonders for me :)
