Canadian fan, here! I would absolutely love to win this deck. My favourite deck in my collection is the Blue Collar playing cards, also a homey looking design.
I have fond memories of Newfoundland having flown there from Sydney, Australia for a friend's wedding.
A deck I really like and may be obscure is the Bunnyland deck by Sandy Chang.
Another great review, a deck i like very much and you may not know about is the Brazil 2014 deck from Blue Crown and designed by Midnight Cards. The colors are simply amazing.
Good to see you in the comments Richard. Hope you are well. Good luck.
Exquisite deck, great look!
My rarest deck right now is the green guilded muffin (fewest decks made).
I already backed the current kickstarter, and added 2 of these decks as add ons, really looking forward to them
One of my favorite obscure decks is the tragic royalty deck which is a dark and twisted style deck with Tim Burton style art. The name itself says a lot.
For me the most obscure, but now appreciate its uniqueness. The deck I am referring to is, Tempo by Art of Play. Because of this deck I am becoming appreciative of other obscure decks. Thanks for the great review!
great to see back regular reviews. I have missed these
Glad you like them! More to come!
Wow, this Deck looks really nice!
My favorite Deck of Cards is the Somnium Eden Edition, wich is more known in Germany, because the founders of the Somnium brand are rather famous Magicians and Cardists in Germany
An obscure deck that I enjoy is the Royal Mischief deck. A great deck with great art.
It really is!I reviewed it some time ago!
@@TheGentlemanWake yes sir, it was through your review a while back that I picked the deck up. :)
My favorite deck of card is not unknown, but is original as it is not a deck of poker style playing card, but a tarot one.
It is the keymaster tarot cards from stockholm17, i find it wonderful, well designed with an esotheric touch which fit perfectly to the tarot univers.
Yes, that's a beautiful deck!
My hidden gem would be the "pug pants" deck designed for harapan ong from edo huang.
I'll have to check that deck out! Thanks!
My favorite obscure deck is the strange and stranger ultimate deck. It’s just so original and the artwork is top notch. But for elegant simple cards I really like to use the dead man’s deck unharmed edition very good for game play.
Yeah that's a good one! Thanks Casey!
I really like these cards! Def going to back the current KS. I don't have a huge playing card collection so I may not know any that are super obscure, but I have the HorROAR! Play Cards Clear Edition (the original edition were black background... not my fave) from Ace Collectable. They're not without their flaws, but I like to use them in horror-themed D&D campaigns, like Curse of Strahd.
Ah, cool. I'll check that deck out! I've never heard of it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Pretty cool deck. Now, I'm going to have to track this one down.
One deck that I like was from a campaign that was insanely fun back a few years ago: The Different Deck. Another one I rather like from the same era that is now highly sought after is the Bicycle Emperor Deck.
This deck is available as an Add-On for backers of the new projects (the Folklore Edition). W00t!
This deck looks amazing!! 😍Also, an unknown and obscure deck in my favourites would be clouded paper by Eliot Slevin. Super interesting and every single back is a completely unique design. :)
Great to see u back in full swing :) gorgeous back design:) most obscure deck would be luke wadey bespoke deck he made for dan-yule-sun for pateron its another take on the arw v2 deck only 6 of them made i think so far :)
Thanks Stu! I know you've been a viewer of the channel for a long time!
Such a beautiful deck and a beautiful review!
Thank you so much!
Wow, I'm from western Canada and although familiar with the culture out east I hadn't heard of these playing cards. Thank you for the introduction and another great video.
The only slightly obscure cards u can think of are the misc. Goods Co. Cards. You may have even had them on the channel but I couldn't remember. Live the story behind them and the cards themselves.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would love to win this deck and add it to my newly started collection. I love the design of the court cards and the fact that they are printed by USPCC makes it that much better. My favorite obscure deck is the smokey the bear deck, thanks for the great review
I would like to recommend you the "Pinocchio Vermilion II Ed. - Red".
You may be familiar with the first edition released in 2018 but this one has a particularly interesting/impactful tuck case.
The cards have red edges which looks really great in the tuck case.
The deck itself is quite interesting and popularizes the Pinocchio story which never gets old.
It is definitely worth checking out.
This deck is one of my favorites and I can't wait for the second. Another couple obscure decks I really like are the Vaivorykštė playing cards and the Bosch playing cards.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check them out!
I’m not sure if these are super obscure, but the Circus Black Mosquito deck by Marianne Larsen is one of my favorites. It was my first Kickstarter and such a wonderful deck of cards. It’s dark, but feels wonderfully authentic in art style and overall design.
Hey Paul! I'll check it out!
@@TheGentlemanWake wow, what a coincidence, this deck just won the deck of the year with 52+joker
@@MrUltimateConsumer really?!
Damn! Simple stuffs yet beautiful artworks!
Hmm, obscured decks…. Probably not sure if you have heard of this before but, I do like the Testament Deck by Ben Green - a deck dedicated to the Bible
Thanks Ruben! Will check it out.
Love the channel. I'm just getting into the collecting of fancy cards. Any chance of making a video on storage of these cards? Or maybe some direction to where to purchase a beautiful brick box or two ?
I collect tarot cards and I’d like to start collecting playing cards also. Funny thing I just moved to NL on 6/5 and see this deck. How cool you pop up! Possibly you haven’t heard of the Faunae Playing Cards? I couldn’t resist to add them to some readings. I subbed & liked also. 🤞
My favorite deck of cards I have is Killer Cards
It's a serial killer deck! The Ace of Hearts is Ted Bundy - my favorite serial killer ❤️ my Green Bay Hero's Deck is also one of my favorites, as well as my Lucky Pot - cannabis themes deck, the Ace of Spades is a bong 😅 I think those are my current 3 favorites
Any plans for giveaways???
I don't know if it is obscure or just lost to time, but I love the 2015 Mardi Gras deck from Dave Edgerly for its colors and festival takes on the court cards. portfolio52.com/deck/3348/view
Yeah that's a great deck! Thanks Daniel
